I'm so sorry that this happened to you :( I will pray that you will have the strength to overcome this. You don't deserve that at all. Cheating is one thing I will never understand, can't people just be mature enough to end a relationship (or marriage) if they want someone else?

OMG that's terrible! I will keep your niece in my prayers also. I'm glad that she's getting treatment now and didn't succeed with her attempt.

Glad to hear you are going to get some help in dealing with this. There is nothing wrong with having medication to help in a time like this. I also am VERY glad you are having "other" testing done. VERY smart woman.

Agreed :thumbup: And a lot of men will try to tell you that "all men look at it" and that its "normal". Its not normal, and its not ok ever, for anyone. Its a horrible thing that breaks up a ton of marriages every year, even if both parties "consented" to viewing it. This country/world needs to get a grip on the porn industry AND Hollywood since they are becoming one in the same anymore. Its become a very sick and perverse world.
I am so sorry that you have become the latest victim of this evil monster. I am not going to say that it was all porns fault, because we all have free will, but once it gets in someones head, its hard to get out. Its very hard to recover from that.
Last year a church near us had a big conference called "Porn and Pancakes". It was helping men overcome addictions to it over breakfast I think. IF you want to work on your marraige, your church, or if you dont attend one, find a church, and they should be able to offer a lot of help. If you dont know of any, you can pm me where you live, and I can talk to my church and have them locate a good one for you in your area.
Even if you dont want to work on your marraige, you still need to work on you. You are damaged by this, and you are going to need some counsilling too.

yea i grad on time plus went to college, I am a paralegal now plus I have decent credit so that helps in the long run
