We are officially homeowners!

As of 2:45 pm this afternoon, we own a home! Woohoo!!!!

I have some more pics of the house but they are too large and I don't know how to resize them. LOL

But I did manage to post a pic of the light over the dining area. I love that thing!

Well, I had planned on being out by the end of the month. That way I could sort of take my time, clean as I went, sort through stuff, etc. BUT when we went and gave our 30 day notice to the people we are renting this house from, they said they wanted us out by this weekend or we have to pay another month's rent. So I guess we'll be moving this week. Its going to be TOUGH because Mike has to work Tuesday and Wednesday so that only gives us Thursday and Friday to move and clean.

Oh my gosh. You are gonna be busy. We only had about a week to get out of our house when we sold it, but we had given almost everything away so only had Richard's garage stuff to move. We just made it by the skin of our teeth. Good luck.

yay congrats! you will have a busy, busy week..but once you are in your new house it will all be worth it!

Thanks! I can't wait. Words can not express how much I hate this rental house we are in. I can't wait to be out of here!


Mike is working nights these days so I figure while he's sleeping Tues and Weds I can be cleaning and packing and we can haul a load or two over there before he has to leave for work. Then I can also clean and pack after he leaves and when he gets home before he goes to sleep we can haul a few more loads.

The carport at the new house has been closed in and converted into a storage room so if we can just get everything moved over there and into there, then we can take our time UNpacking and I can sort and toss stuff as we go.

Its still going to be hard because its supposed to rain Thurs and Fri. :rolleyes:

thats not right.. if you paid this months rent you have til the end of the month...

We also payed first AND LAST months rent before we moved in. :rolleyes: She is just ticked because she wanted us to stay here until she found another renter so she wouldn't be out of any income.

I hate doing it to her (they have been really good to us while we lived here), but I HATE this house and I want out of it ASAP! So it doesn't bother me at all that she wants us out by this weekend. The sooner I am able to go HOME. :)

Congratulations on becoming home owners!!!!....You are going to have sooooo much fun being able to do real decorating now!!..... Renting has a way of prevents a person from doing those kinds of things!....
