Just wanted to post an example of how fast the snow came down in my area on Thursday...

This one was taken 30 minutes later on the same day....

I did not realize that it snowed that much in TX.

Guess it really is a big state.

Wow!! Ok now I want to say...Last night was spring forward, so my goodness I hope WE ALL have spring weather real soon! This snow, ice and rain needs to stop!!:animal-pa

Wow, that's a dump. How much did you get?

All ours is melting. I almost hope we don't get any more at this stage.

After all said and done, I think the final tally was 9inches... a new record for us!

I wish we would have one more hard freeze just to kill some mosquitos.

my MIL backed to her mailbox on the way to work & she ended up in the ditch of her yard. I told her I was glad at least she didnt get down the road and have a wreck

tell me about it! Im soooo sick of snow this winter! :( they are talking more here wednesday night and friday night :(

Yep....I've said it all along....I live in the WRONG part of Texas :rolleyes: I LOVE snow darn it! The last snow we had here was a few years ago, in 2005, and MAN...we had a TON of snow. My husband is from Canada and his family said that THEY normally don't even get the amount of snow we did :eek: HUGE snow storm here...it was absolutely insane. I went in my backyard and the snow was LITERALLY up to my KNEES :eek:

I'll be long gone before something like that ever happens here again! :( So sad :( I want snow :(

It's about 60 degrees here. I wish it was lower because I love the cold. All it does is rain in Austin... You're so lucky!!!!

I was shocked that y'all got so much snow and I'm 45 miles to the NORTH of you and didn't get a drop. It's our turn next time ;)

We went to Missouri at the end of January until the beginning of February for a dog show so I got to see some snow then and play in it a little :D

I didnt know Texas got that much snow either!! People dont think it snows in Arizona either! It has been one long cold and snowy winter all over this year! Guess we can chalk that up to global warming too!!LOL:) ;)
