If you are into doggie recipes, make sure you get a YT cook Book, it will have plenty of doggie recipes!

I'd be very careful the recipes. I didn't see this show, but not too long ago, someone posted a pet recipe she did, and it seemed awfully fatty and rich for dogs.

I agree-the recipes are posted online, and I just looked at them. One of them (The dog food one) actually calls for beef fat-probably not the best idea for our little yorkies! Also, some of the recipes have garlic-which is not good for yorkies in large quantities.

I'm not sure that I agree with the supplements and ratios she uses. I think the treat recipes should be ok-but PLEASE do your own research and talk with your vet before you jump into feeding your dog solely off the diet she featured.

I missed it-but it's on again today at 3 PM ET/PT, so I'm planning to catch it then.

OH DARN IT!!!!!! :mad: I *KNEW* I was going to forget about this coming on, and I did!!! :mad: I hope they repeat it...I'm sure they will...I wanted to see this so bad! :(

I missed it too...and did a search on Dish Network. I don't see it on through at least Tuesday :(

I agree. She has a big dog, a Pitbull i think or a mix, anyway those recipes might be okay for her but not for little Yorkies.

Garlic isn't really good to give. You are correct, it is part of the onion family and a small amount fed over a period of time could possibly cause anemia.

I thought two of the recipes looked okay (especially the smoothie).:)
