Does anyone here know of any free ISP's besides Juno and AOL? Any that are actually any good????:D

I don't know if this is what you're talking about :embarasse but I use Internet Explorer/MSN and don't pay for it.

Qwest is a good isp. I had them when, I lived in Muscatine, IA. Also, you can check your cable company and your telephone provider(which I think is Qwest). Earthlink is ok too. Sometimes your computer repair places also is a ISP. Not sure if that helps ya out, but its just ideas to get you started.

I have internet explored but it uses the ISP I already have to connect. Does that make sense? When I try to download MSN it always gives me the prices and doesn't say anything about free.

Do you have any idea how I would work these???

net zero USED to be free way back when they 1st started - but you had to contend with banners everywhere - aol is not free as far as I know - and the cheapest you're going to get would be peoplePC or net zero - they stayed low price --about 10 per month d there are specials with some companies but they make you get other stuff -

AOL here, and wouldn't give it up for anything, I've had it for years, and tried a lot of the others, but, I think aol is the easiest and best..

www.AOL.com is free if you have broadband.

It is not like the old AOL that you pay for, it is a bit different
but as long as you can connect to the internet you can go to www.aol.com and it is free.

Also www.yahoo.com, and www.hotmail.com are free for e-mail (as far as I know) ..

I still have the paid AOL service because I am used to it and find it easier also.
But I use broadband to connect to the internet. Have not used dial-up in ages!

The free ones usually have a ten hour per month limit:eek: , so it won't work real well for me but right now that is the choice I have. :(

you can pay around 10 per month with UNLIMITED access if you go thru peoplepc or some of the other ones in that price range - Even yahoo has a new high speed for about 14 per month but I don't know how 'fast' it really is since I think it uses phone lines -

I set my dad up (he's 80) on people pc and he has no problems at all with it - he uses outlook express for his email and just has to log in thru the actual site - then I got his home page set to access by clicking the Blue 'e' (internet explorer)

We have DSL, and our aol is free, and it's the exact same as it's always been..we have bellsouth(which we never use)I don't go to aol.com, aol is on the desktop, and I click on it like I always have

the aol(if you have dsl with another isp, doesn't limit you to your useage..it's totally free..I stay connected to aol 24/7
