I quit my job today To earn a little extra money while building our business, I took a housekeeping job for a wealthy family. It paid pretty well, but I was tired of their hoity toity attitude so I quit today. Our business is getting pretty busy anyway and am needing to devote more and more time to it. I feel really great about it though. Wooh! |
good for you then :) whatever makes you happy and puts less stress and frustration in your life :) |
Good luck with your family business! I |

Money can't buy your happiness. There is no need to put up with anyones crap. :clapsmile Good for you! |
Hope you business goes so well that you need to hire a housekeeper. Just don't give her any hoity-toity crap! |
I promise I won't! I made myself a promise that if God ever blesses with me with lots of money, I would never ever be one of those type people. I would remain the happy go lucky self that I am and just be me. :D |
It sure takes a lot of time and energy to start a new business. I heard one time on a talk show that for the first ten years any profit has to go back in the business. The guy said, "Now ladies, don't go buying that extra pair of shoes." May your business grow by leaps and bounds. |

Congrats on quitting! |
That's weird -- I swear I posted a reply yesterday but now its not on here. And that's not the first time it happened either .... What I wrote was that if we put 100% back into the business for 10 years, we would probably have saved enough to buy ourselves a storefront paid in full. By then, our equipment will be WAY outdated and we'd have to buy more (which we would anyway.) Hopefully within the next year husband will be able to quit his job as well and do our pet photography full time. |
