Savannah Anybody?
 
My best friends birthday is in mid May. My 2 cousins and I are planning to kidnap her on a girls weekend to Savannah, Georgia to stay in a GORGEOUS inn. AND the best part is that Jamie can come too! While the inn isn't necessarily pet friendly, the owner has Yorkies and said that since she has a soft spot we could bring Jamie. (I'm glad she said so because that was definitely a dealbreaker ;) ) Anyway, I would love to meet up with any YT members in the area while we are there. Also if you have any favorite Savannah "things to do", please share! I want this to be the best girl's weekend ever.

I'm only about 45 mins from Savannah! I would love to do a meetup, but right now I dont' have a car and don't know if I will by then or not.

As far as Savannah goes, if you can get reservations I would suggest going to the Lady and Sons (paula deens restaurant), carriage rides are also always fun. Definitely go to River Street! we love to get icecream (I can't think of the name of place right now) and sit and watch the boats come in.

Tybee island is only about a 15 min drive from Savannah, so if you like the beach. We like to go to Tybee at night and go out on the pier and just walk the beach. Its a really serene peaceful beach at night.

I'm sure there is more I'm forgetting... I'll post later if I think of anythng else.

Ugh!!! :mad: So the owner of the inn in Savannah called and said they had double booked the rooms because while she was talking to me her husband was talking to someone else. They offered another weekend but this is her birthday weekend. Oh well regardless the girls and I reevaluted after work and have decided to go to Nashville! :p So I guess I'll post a new thread closer to the date looking for Nashville YT'ers, cause if I posted a new thread now I'd look pretty silly... :rolleyes:

Aww man, that stinks! Nashville should be fun too though (personally I'd have more fun in Nashville than Savannah)

Hey Misty, I've never been to either, but Savanah is on my lists of places to go. I bet Nashville will be fun, especially if you can take Jamie!!

LOL! Thanks ladies. I'm sure we will have fun wherever we go, we always do. And I've never taken Jamie "out of town". I can't wait. I'm looking for a stroller as we speak!
