Thank you all so much.
Things are the same. They still have him sedated so he doesn't move
his head. That was the only thing he could move before surgery and
he continued to do that after so he's sedated so the neck can stay
in place since the surgery was at the neck base. My SIL swears
when he held his dad's hand he felt a squeese. That's promising
for sure. Once they get the blood clean again hopefully with lot's of
prayer's and the infection is gone, his movement will once again return.

Just an update:

He is off the resperator and breathing on his own.
His left leg is paralyzed and both his hands have no feeling in them.
He is alive and aware of what has happened to him.
The doctor's can't believe he came this far so God willing with
therapy maybe the feeling will return.
When he is better he will be transported to a re-hab hosp for treatment.
Thank you all again for your prayer's. They certainly have helped.

Whew! being off the respirator is great news. I pray he will continue to improve.
