My boyfriend was soo davastated today when he found out. He called me about to cry. I really thought he was gonna come home early from work. I know it'll be a quiet night tonight. I feel soo bad, he said he didnt know what he was gonna do.

But I was wondering if anyone from Green Bay or near by areas would mind picking up 2 newspapers for me tomorrow and shipping them? He'd really love that soo much! We're down in FL and no one here gets it, they all think he's crazy for being soo upset. He'd really love it! Thanks!! I really appreciate it!

I wasn't expecting it now... last year maybe ... but he seemed set on not retiring and boom.... he lowered them boom on us like this.... depressing!

I'm not surprised, he's had a long and amazing career.

Didn't he say he was retiring a year or so ago though and then right before the season change his mind?

I live in Green Bay and I will see what I can do about getting a newspaper for you...did you want one that announces his retirement or will any do discussing his retirement......You might also contact the Green Bay Press Gazette...I think they will send you one too.....I will have hubby check today at work.....

Brett and Deanna are having a press conference in 5 mins...this should be interesting....but very very sad....We are in Mourning once again in Green Bay....
