Don't take life for granted I think I'm in shock..I just got a phone call from my mom. A girl from back home that was the year below me in high school had an asmatha attack yesterday and died! Apparantly she didn't have her inhaler with her and by the time the ambulance made it to her house (she lives in the country) she was already gone. She was just 20 years old, has a 1yr old daughter, was taking college classes to become a nurse, and she worked part time at the nursing home. I just can't believe how such a great, sweet person is just suddenly gone! |
That is terribly sad and tragic..now her little girl has no momma.. Dawn |
YT is starting to sound like the news, which I avoid because of all the sadness. I am so very sorry for your friend's sudden death. Only 20yrs old and her young daughter without a mother. Very, very sad. So many sad stories here today. Your right, we need to remember to count our blessing's daily. Every day we open our eyes is a true blessing. |
I'm so sorry. We lost a close friend the same way. She was 37. Sending prayers for her precious little girl. I hope there is someone very close to her that will be able to raise her. And, yes, definitely treasure every moment of life - it is way too short. I, along with several other YT members, can attest to that. |
OMG how sad! I will pray for this family. Her poor daughter. My hubby also has Ashma and I have seen him where he could hardly breath. Life is to short, live it to the fullest! |
I am so sorry. people say when you know someone is sick you can prepare yourself for their death, and when its unexpected it is so much harder, I believe both hurt equally, but not being able to say goodbye is so hard. I will keep their family in prayers as well as you |
Thats sad ,I will pray for her family and daughter, |
oh I hate hearing that kind of stuff, it makes me soooo sad! A guy I went to HS with (had a slight crush on), died of a brain aneurosism (?) about 2 years after HS. It was sooo sad! Another kid my bro graduated with (1 year below me) found out his JR year of HS he had brain cancer. He got a full scholarship to Boston art school and died in his 2nd year :( There are countless stories like this and each one makes me soooo sad that these talented, wonderful lives were cut too soon in this life :( My thoughts and prayers go out to you! |
That's really sad about your friend. The same thing (asthma attack) took the life of one of my classmates when I was in school. So sad and so sudden. |
 How horrible for her family:unlove: Prayers going up for them:hands: |
I am sorry to hear about your friend... I will keep her family in my prayers each and every night! |
Thank you to everyone for your kind words and prayers. This is such a shock! At least when you know someone is sick, you have time to prepare yourself and say your goodbyes. In this situation, all I can think about are all the plans she had made in life that she will never get the chance to do. It is extremely sad that she has left her daughter behind, but I am positive that Mackenzie will grow up happy with her daddy and grandparents. Mackenzie looks just like her mommy (Jessica) and I hope that she is brought up knowing all about the beautiful woman that her mommy was. |
OMG that's horrible .... she must have been so scared.... life IS too short and we never know what's right around the corner :( how sad for her family - they must be devestated. My prayers are with you all - that's really tragic :( |
Oh my.. thats so sad.:( Prayers are with you all! |
I am so sorry to hear this. That is terrible. You are 100% correct, it takes tragedies like that to remind us not to take things for granted! |
