Prayer request for 2 young boys My mother works with the grandfather of these 2 boys. The boys are Caleb 5 and Cameron 8 or 9 months. They were both born with cnongenital heart defects that required both of them to have heart transplants. Well I dont know the entire stories, but right now both of them are in Chicago at the hospital with little chance of survival. Both of them are having some sort of reaction to the heart transplants, and their livers are failing. They are in comas right now. Please pray for a miracle for this family. I believe that God can and does heal. I cannot imagine losing 1 of my children, let alone 2 at the same time. |

Apparently both boys have something called PDLD? Post Transplant Lymphoproliferative disease. I dont know what that is though. Just in Dec Kaleb was doing well enough to be doing Kindergarden homework. He was the only kid in his class who's gingerbread man had a trachea, heart, and intestines :) He made a sudden turn for the worst shortly thereafter. The baby had just had his transplant at that time. Just last week things were looking up a little. They were still in the hospital, but showing some improvment. Just the past couple of days have almost proved fatal for the both of them. I am getting the prayer request emails forwarded to me and I will post any info I get. |

What a tragic story. Prayer's coming for a miracle for both of them. What can you say to something like this. I have goose bumps all over me! I hope the parents have tons of support at this time. They certainly need it. |

Tears shed, prayers said for those two precious lives and their family. Something like this makes me realize how lucky I am, no matter how bad things may seem at times. Nothing can be worse than the possibility of losing two babes. My heart goes out to them. |

Caleb has had a terrible turn for the worst overnight. His CRRT machine keeps clotting and they have him off of it now. His liver is failing. He needs a miracle badly. I would post from his carepage the update, but it is far too sad. His mom and dad are still trying so hard to keep the faith that he will be healed. Pray hard please. |
