i know this doesnt have anything to do with yorkies but All of you have helped me and pixie out so much. Me and pixie just found a place to live. we both love it a lot but the biggest problem is that after we signed the lease we realized that there was a running train under us. I still cant believe it till this day that we never noticed it till we finally slept there. I love my apartment. Does anyone have any advice on how to help stop the vibration on my bed so i can sleep through the night. thanks |
OH DEAR!!!!! What a surprise!!!! I have absolutely no experience with a train running under my home, but I can only suggest some sort of foam/spunge under the feet of your bed to cushion the vibration from the train. Good luck! |
Wow !!! The only thing I can suggest is padding. If you don't have one now, I would put an area rug with a very thick padding underneath. |

I use to live with freight train tracks in my back yard growing up. You just get use to it: the noise, the shaking, they were almost the same time every night. It is hard to get use to, but just give it time. |
Hard to believe, but you will get used to it... Quote:
Sometimes it was even a comfort. "Oh well, there goes the 8:15 to Germany..." |
