We don't have basements in Texas so we don't have to worry about that. Your backyard looks like it has more water in it than my pond...it is about to dry up!!!! |
well regardless of the heat - I still have several 8-10 foot long sections of ice in my driveway that are still at least an inch thick  -- I was out there trying to break up the ice still in my driveway & sidewalk after weeks of repeated rain, ice & snow storms. I even put ice melt on the remaining ice and it's still that thick :( The best part of the whole day?? My back gate is unfrozen for the first time in 15 days!! Now, I won't have to climb over the rod iron railing around my back porch to get into the driveway & reach my unattached garage anymore :p -- you should have seen how cute I was trying to do that for the last 2 weeks - carrying my laptop or groceries -- especially the days I wore a skirt to work  - did I mention I'm only 4' 10" and that was quite a drop for my little legs - lol |
Wow, it sounds like you've had a very interesting few weeks! I'm glad that you can open your gate now lol. |
 I have been there....I hope it clears up soon! Great pictures though! I think we are getting all of your weather...we have had rain non-stop since late yesterday evening and today it is said to turn into freezing rain and then up to 5 inches of snow!!! Quote:

Look at the bright side, now you don't have to put a pool up :p |
I always say I miss the snow but I forget that it has to melt! Cute picture of your baby. |
