I so would like to make some money working at home....then I could get a new furbaby....lol |
Nikki, be very careful of the work at home things. i read online yesterday that about ninety percent of those are Nigarian scams and Just this week, my son and soon to be ex daughter in law ere visited by the sheriff concerning their work at home they were doing. Turns out is was all a scam and i knew it was as soon as I found out but it took a visit from the sheriff to convince them. i don't want to post details here but if you want to know so you can aware, let me know by email or pm. |
you could always be an adult phone operator. I've seen ad's for that kind of job. All you need is a home phone and to sit at home all day answering calls. I knew someone who did that for a psychic hotline. Worked in his pj's all day telling people what they wanted to hear. |
I would like to get info on this too. I'd love to have an at home job that I could do a few nights a week. I need more money to afford all the stuff I buy for my furbabies! lol :p |

Just another tip: I read somewhere that you should never have to pay an initial fee to get the job. If you do, it's probably a scam. |
I know a couple of people that work from home. Several in insurance...filing and processing claims. Got the jobs the same way...you get a job. Responded to newspaper ads.... My nephew is a computer hacker....well that's not his real title, but he works from home for a company....that other companies hire to "hack" into their computer systems. Then he tells them where the security issues are. He has a BS degree in computers...and his salary is 6 figures. He works whatever hours he wants to work....meaning any time during a day. Btw, he says...the least safest sites he's investigated are jewelry stores which offer their own financing... I know other people who do bookkeeping at home and medical billing. |

I have an online job. I work for a home builder here and I am the Online Sales Consultant. I manage about 15 communities in the East Coast of Florida and basically schedule appointments for people to come and visit our showcase/model centers. I do a lot of relocating for people and helping them find a community that is best suited for them. I do have an office at the corporate office but with my line of work a lot of times I work from my home office since I have a company lap top and cell phone and it requires me to take calls after hours and weekends. It is nice in the aspect that I can work from home but it is sales and the market is TOUGH right now so that side stinks for now. However I still do pretty well. I get to see Murphy and Mia too when working at home but I have to shut my office when I am on the phone because every now and than they may bark and that is just a NO NO while I am on the phone with customers - LOL! :p Good luck with your search! |
Dont know anyone personally... But have watched that show "WifeSwap" a few times...and have seen mothers that work at home via online... for like, medical transcripting, billing, insurance... so, I mean...they are out there.... Just how the heck do you get one  |

I believe w/ most of those, you need to take classes...I know a friend tried to get me to take some night classes w/ her (our local college held night classes for 3 months) for medical transcriptionists and a few other things...but it was like $2500 and you weren't guaranteed to find work...but I don't know how hard it would be...I think they put your name on a list or something?? -- I don't know because I didn't check into it. How does that work anyway? Do you have to constantly be at home? Even if you pick your work hours...do you have to stay by the phone/computer? I don't know if that would work for me...because things come up or we may have company or may want to go/do something spur of the moment...does anyone know?? |
Here are some websites for some I have worked for. Basically you answer incoming calls from people wanting to order this or that. Just depends on what company you work for. You will need a dedicated phone line, computer and headset for most and no BACKGROUND noise. West - http://apply.westathome.com/ LiveOps - http://www.liveops.com/ Right now I am with one company that requires you to incorporate. Sorry I can't list the names of the actual companies cause of confidentiality forms I signed. India |
If you are a teacher, you can work for Sylvan Learning Center's online tutoring service. My daughter did this for awhile. |
I have made $30 online...LOL I love doing surveys, so do them, have gotten my 2nd $10 check, and the 3rd is on its way..doesn't pay for much, but does take care of my eyebrow waxing..:D |
I seriously didn't know people actually got paid for those surveys...how do you find the surveys and do they cause a lot of JUNK on your computer and email?? |
