:( :( :( I'm so sorry - you;ll be surprised at how strong you can be. I wasn't during the time of my husbands death and funeral but sometimes we NEED to go thru all that emotion to be accepting of a death. I know in my heart now my husband could have suffered so much more and he was spared.....your husbands grandmother may need to be spared too in the same way. Living in pain is sometimes far worse than the alternative. :( She's lived a very long life and you all are very lucky to have her this long....GOOD luck and a hug to grandma (and you too) I really hope for all of your sakes she isn't suffering too much

Thank you for all the prayers, it does wonders. I know that she is 93 yrs old and was so lucky to live so many years. There are people who do not even get to see their children grow up:( when times get eally hard and we see her, I tell my hubby exactly that, she has seen her children grow to adulthood, her grandchildren are all adults, she even has seen her great grandchildren with the oldest being 13. we have been blessed to have her for so many years but that still doesnt take away from the heartbreak we experience when we see her lying in her bed. Thank goodness she isnt crying out in pain but yet she is non responsive. There are no more hellos and goodbyes, no more talks, its like if she is gone already and that is soooo hard. My poor husband sits and tries so hard to get her to realize that we are there and she does not respond. what makes it so much harder is that she has always had such a good memory. up until last week she was able to retell stories about when her children were 5 yrs old. so to see her like this now is just so hard. I have school 3 times a week now and I cant make it to her house, Ii have midterms this week then my 3 kids need help with hw and then theres housework, Im just such a mess right now. But thank you guys sooooo much for the prayers and just being there to hear me out. sometimes you dont need to see a person face to face to make a impact and difference in their lives. you are all great

Just seeing this thread and sending prayer\'s for Grandma. 93 years old
is certainly a blessing to be able to have all those years with family and
friends. I am sure there are loads of wonderful memories stored in her mind.
Grandparent\'s are very special people. I do hope she is resting comfortable
and not in pain.

I don\'t think there is anything more painful than saying goodbye to someone you love. Sending prayers for your hubby\'s grandma and for you and your family.

Praying for your husband\'s grandmother. Loss is never easy and especially with someone so close and well loved.

I am so sorry your family is going thru this. I will keep you all in my prayers. Just remember she is going to a place so wonderful and she will be so happy there. That has always made me feel a little better when I have gone thru times like this. Keep strong.

My deepest condolences. I know you all miss her but remember she is home now with her Heavenly Father. Lean on Him for comfort.
