Vacation Suggestions?
 
Hi, we are really stuck on where to go this summer. We are looking for a good deal to wherever..Islands are a good choice but where?? Any suggestions would be appreciated..what is your favorite vacation spot?

We have been to:
Maine
Myrtle Beach
Disney
Bahamas
Gettysburg

We live in middle America and drive to most vacation spots. Two of our favorites are Colorado (summer) in the Vail area, or South Dakota, Black Hills. Both are great! We have been both places several times. Oh, and they are Yorkie friendly. :)

We love Disney!!!....... There are houses available in Orlando that are also pet friendly..... they have pools, too! We know people that have stayed in one and was only minutes from the Disney Park. We stay at the Boardwalk Villas when we go, but would like to try RV'ing there sometime and stay in the RV park. (I believe it is Fort Wilderness).

Curacao is amazing.

I really want to go to the bahamas. There is a hotel there that has water slides where you can view fish as your going through the slides and swimming with the dolphins. We saw a preview of this hotel on the travel channel. I also want to go to Hawaii

Coast Rica! The plane tickets may cost a bit, but you can do hotels and food fairly cheap. It is an absolutely amazing and beautiful place to visit1

This summer we are heading to PR:) I need me some sun and blue crystal clear waters. The tickets are very low now via Jet Blue and I am going to stay at my family's house and travel to my cousin's who just bought and apt. by the beach! Koda is going to be spoiled that's for sure:p

My very favorite vacation is Angel Fire, New Mexico in August. We usually go every year and stay for a month. There is so much to see and do in the area. We never get tired of it and it is beautiful!!!!

Just googled that...looks really nice. any place that you would recommend staying? My bf is doing the planning but he told me that I have to come up with some ideas..

Well, if you are looking for somewhere to go in the US I would say that you can't go wrong with the Keys.

Love the clear waters! That's why we loved Bahamas soo much, it was so relaxing and beautiful..must be nice to have family there!

those are all great suggestions..I am googling everything! I think we are aiming more for the island scene...I am writing these all down though!

Come to Cape Cod mass!!! Hey my house is right down the street from the bay or ocean...AND it's for sale!!!! Come oooooon down!!!!! :cool: :cool:

If you want an Island feel with beautiful waters, I would suggest Punta Cana..Very inexpensive...try Excellence resort..All inclusive...no kids

I have been dying to try Anguilla for years. I have heard it is a hidden jewel that not many know about and has great waters and world renowned cuisine.

My parents have a time share there... it looks AMAZING!! They've only had it for a couple of years. I hope to visit soon.

I love Mexico! Went to Cabo in Oct and we are headed to Cancun this August. Can't wait.. :)

the Atlantis? that is a really cool place:) we love the bahamas, yellowstone park and the keys.

My husband and I got married this past May, and we went to Kuaui, the oldest island in Hawaii and had a blast. It isn't as commercialized as Oahu is (the tourist island where Honolulu is), and there is a LOT of outdoor things to do! It has the Na Pali Coastline where a bunch of movies were filmed (they even have a bus ride that takes you to all the places where movies were filmed). There is also amazing food - dishes I'd never heard of.

thanks for all of the great suggestions:thumbup: I think it really comes down to money...we want something all inclusive. my bf wants to go on a cruise again so we will see! I would love to just go to an island though and relax!

Secrets Excellence in Punta Cana, Dominican of Rebublic...All-inclusive, beautiful snorkeling waters, amazing resort. Adult only! Very inexpensive...would go back in a quick second!
