What a scare!!!! My son was chasing after a ball and he slid on our rug in the kitchen and hit his head on the door hinge. He started screaming and bleeding pretty bad so we rushed him to the hospital. At first the nurse wasn't sure if he was going to need stitches or not but the doctor said that he should be okay and they rubbed this dermabond on his cut. I was so scared! I forgot his middle name when I was filling out all of the paperwork. I just stood there made a fool out of myself. He seems to be feeling better now. He is back up playing. I think hubby and I were more scared than he was. We are giving him all his faves tonight, chicken nuggets and Pinocchio over and over. :) |
Poor little guy! |
Oh, dear! I am glad he's okay. Head wounds can really bleed! Scares you to death! |
How scary! Poor baby! I hate it when my kids get hurt. My 4 year old jumped off the bed one nite when he was 2 and broke his leg! I was scared to look, I'm just glad there was no blood. |
Hate to hear that but glad that he's back home and feeling better:) And Pinocchio was my youngest's fav disney movie when he was a toddler (he's 15 now). He used to call it "P -oh-oh"...lol. |
Oh God That would have scared me too.. So glad he is ok. ((((((HUGS))))) |
Yikes! I'm glad he's OK! |

How is your son today?.... I was just telling Maureen about him.. She said she is so happy it was not to bad. They can give us such scares |
I definitely have more gray hair from my kids! When my oldest was 3 he decided to see if he could throw a rock high in the air.....well it cam down and hit him on the crown of his head. The blood was incredible! I was finding pieces of hair and scalp everywhere! Thankfully he didn't need stitches but to this day his hair never grew back in that spot. |
