I got an email like this, but it was for the check sent out in '01. I guess theyre doing it the same way. Can you post a link?

this is the rebate right.... not our tax returns.

i got my tax return deposited into my bank account this morning. :D it was a nice little suprise

This is what I heard on the news too.....but it would be just like the government to give out checks 6 months from now for an economic stimulus package that is supposed to make us all spend!!:rolleyes: Geez, I would hope the economy is in better shape by Sept. of this year!

Well, since hubbys ends with 07 that would say July, but, they said on the news the other day, they're going to start sending them out in May, so, I don't think it will take 2 mos. to get here..??

This is the link I received in my email a couple of days ago. It has the same timesheet on it, but notice it's from 2001..I wonder if its the same thing?

When we had our taxes done the other day...I asked our tax guy about this, if he knew anything about this rebate to help the economy...but he said that he gets updates on it just about every day and as of last week, nothing was set in stone yet.....So who knows! :rollingey

It was on our news the other night, it showed President Bush signing it, they said the checks would start going out in May..I will e-mail my friend, she works for the IRS..will ask her when they're going to start mailing them out for sure..

Thanks for that information. :) But doesn't look like were going to get our check till near the end of September. Go figure.....But I shouldn't complain about the date. If the government wants to give us free money.

Its not free its you have to claim it as an advance for next years taxes..
