Click the gay button if you dare??????? Whats that all about????? All of a sudden it was the ad at the top of Yorkie Talk???? A Very LARGE ad? With a big button to click on. Of course I didn't click on it because I didn't want to give someone clicks if its not suposed to be here., but I find that a strange ad to be here???? |
:thumbdown I didn't see that one but right now there is one advertising teacups,:thumbdown :thumbdown I think these sort of ads should be kept off YT. |
Google ad's takes keywords from pages and makes generates ad's based on this. For example if we were to make a thread about Antiques, chances are the ad's above us would change to Antique based ad's. You can't really control the googleadsense ad's they pick up metadata from the site. |

ahahahahaha...I was like..."WHAT is this????" |
Not much you can do. Googleadsense is a great income generating for a big site like this though. On my website we have this as well and someone was talking about Yom Kipur and all these weird travel to Israel ad's came up. I own a car website!!! lol |
These ads pay you to have them on your site? Quote:

Yes, they pay you per click. So you only get something if someone clicks on it. |
They are very helpful utilities for websites! |

Admin does what they can to prevent ads like that from showing up, but occassionally the slip through the cracks. I think that sometimes they show up based on words that people use. So if someone said the word "gay" "button" or "click" it might have been the cause. :) |
We might see it again in this thread :D |

If I'm using Firefox the ads don't even appear for me. With IE they always show up and it's irritating. I've wondered before if the income generated for those business' ads is very substantial, as I've never and would never click on one. |
