I hear you! I always buy one for my husband and myself during Easter time and we end up complaining how they hurt our teeth. I saw the mini eggs last year, I will have to buy those instead!

Oh how much do I hate telling you this... I'm pretty sure Peeps aren't vegetarian.:( Most marshmallows are made with gelatin and gelatin comes from animal bones. I love Peeps too and I miss them. I'm so surprised to see there are so many adults who like them. I've always been teased for liking them.

I LOVE Peeps!! :) I belong to the Peeps Club and have an official Peeps Club tee shirt.

I'm on a low fat diet, so I had a box of Peeps just the other day - purple chicks. :)

My dad is a huge peep fan. I can remember when I was a child, he would steal mine..........which was fine w/me because I never liked them. Back then though I think you could only get the chicks at Easter time but now you can get them for almost all holiday's. My Daughter loves them and my son likes them only once they have gotten hard!:eek:

Easter is my favorite time of year...I am such a candy holic....Easter candy rocks...peeps....Cadbury eggs...the minis....ooohhhh any candy things at Easter

CRAP! Really? Does that mean I can't eat jello, either since it has gelatin in it?

LOL, yeah, no jello either and you have to watch it with gum. I found a list of vegetarian gums and the one I buy (Orbit) was on it but I don't remember the others. If you google it it's easy to find though. I think it's bizarre how there is meat hiding everywhere!:rolleyes: There are vegetarian gelatins and vegetarian marshmallows but you have to really look for it and if it doesn't say it is, it probably isn't.

Well, Orbit is all I chew, so that's good! Man..it really is hiding everywhere!

My favorite candy is Haribo fruit salad. It's a gummy candy so I know there's a chance it's not vegetarian. So I've decided no to look into it and just enjoy my candy.:p You could always go that rout with Peeps- I don't know for 100% SURE they aren't vegetarian.;)

ACK! Why oh why did I look?!:( My yummy Haribo candy is made from pork gelatin. How can I get that erased from my brain?
