This is heartbreaking ... the poster on Snopes lists her birthdate as Sept. 2002. Wouldn't that make her about 5 1/2 instead of 3 yrs old? Just wondering.

When she was reported missing in May of 2006 she would have been 3. The reason it is so important now is because the man that the think took her is now dead.
She is beautiful. It breaks my heart. :(

That little girl is from Minot...where I live...she lived only about a mile from me. I still wonder what happened to her. I fear she is dead. One of the rivers here was drained to look for her body, but they found nothing. The guy that took her, was found dead in his girlfriends van out by a lake. He had killed himself. No sign of that poor little girl.

This was a weird deal. She was last seen on May 16th, but it wasn't reported to law enforcement until the 22nd. This little girl lived with her aunt, who was her legal guardian. That is sad. I've seen that e-mail before :( There are some really sick people out there...I wonder if he was a pedafile and then killed himself from the guilt. I just can't imagine him just giving her away... I just have a bad feeling about it
