Need some advice To make a long story short....my hubbys work cheated us out almost $900 last month. $500 of it was the lady that did his time sheet forgot to enter in some hours and the remainder was they were taking out insurance when he doesn't have insurance, he is only part time. Hubby called mid last month and told them what happened and his work told him who to contact. He called them and said they would over night the $500 and they would have to look into the other. He said okay. Well it's been about a month and still no money. He calls daily and every person he talks to tells him something different. First it was gonna be sent out USPS, that was fine. A couple weeks passed, still no check. Well he called and they said they would cancel that and resend it still by USPS. Nothing. This week they have been telling him we didn't send that USPS it was UPS overnight. Well we didn't get it. They couldn't give us a tracking number or anything. We feel they are just telling us what they want to. They said everytime my hubby calls to request the tracking number they have to redo the whole check. How is that? I thought it was already sent out. My husband (the nice one) has been more than patient throughout this whole thing. Is there anything we can do legally to get our money? It just ticks me off so bad. This company has done nothing but screw us over dozens of times. I'll be so glad when he gets a new job in May. |

This is his employer? This is unbelievable! Did they correct the wrong hrs and at least pay him for his time? Why can't he get paid directly? Praying it's resolved asap! |
Go through the CHAIN of commend at work place-your hubbys supervisor, through payroll- and Personal Dept.I'd write a letter/memo have supervisor sign it also- and send it to the next in line!(keep a copy) If not taken care of you can contact Hour and Wage!Or other Federal or State employement offices! Keeps records of every person you talk to, dates times, comments.- this CAN be very important.sit down and go back- and write it down now! if a union, ask for a rep's help.-even if your husband is not in the union! or you can have an attorney contact them-which if you have one might just be a phone call. Good Luck! They are probably just not passing the ball on down- but that should not affect you family's income! |
My hubby works for a large electric company and they have so many people doing something it takes one person to do. He notified his boss first, then he told him to call the lady that does the timesheets, well she told him to call the people they get the checks from, and that's where we have been stuck. At his work the human resources department is third partied out. They are worthless at his work. They have messed up his check several times. This past time we had to live on $120 for two weeks, talk about hurt! All because they make ridiculous mistakes. |
