Id go see your eye doctor and see what he says! It might not be as bad as you think :)
I know I have astigmatism - have had for a long time but it has never caused these problems before. Maybe I am just getting old.:D

I have an appointment with a neurologist on Thursday morning - I'm not sure what they are going to do. My dr. said they may want to do an MRI, so who knows?

Good news on the CAT. Do you wear progressive lenses by any chance do you?

No, I have regular glasses that I wear during the evening at home and wear contacts during the day. Why do you ask?

Well, I do and I hate them and I was wondering if they could cause the problems you mentioned. I feel like when Im looking at the keyboard and intend to hit one letter I hit another,it's wierd.

If it is what they call a trigger seizure they wouldnt pic it up in an MRI but they would pic up a tumor. Your neurologist would determine if you need an EEG that test your brain waves when your alert and asleep to see if and when the seizures happen. I am fairly familiar with seizures since my 18 month old has started them.. We love our neurologist.. I hope it is something simple for you.. I am amazed how unfazed you are. That takes a lot of strength and faith.

I will have an MRI done on Tuesday. The neurologist ordered that and yet more blood work. Six tubes of blood! I asked the lady how much blood it was total and she said - oh not much, just about 1/4 cup.:eek: I don't know if they will find anything... I just know I have a lot of blood from the past few weeks going all over MN. LOL.

Wow, I'm sorry your little one is having seizures. That must be really hard. Do you know what is causing them? Give him/her a hug for me.:)

I'm doing ok. It's just irritating to type. :rolleyes: Not much fun when you want to be on YT!!!

My neurologist also told me to go to an opthamologist to rule out anything from that direction. I haven't made that appointment yet. Too many appointments!!!! This past week I had five appts. and one with the chiropractor. Next week, it's two dr. appts, the chiro again and a dentist appointment.:( Then two more with social services. Ugh. I think I will take one of my dogs to that one.:D

Now that is a whole lot of appointments...enough to make me dizzy. I need to find a new doctor...make an appointment for a check-up, my prescriptions are running out. I also need new glasses terribly...never noticed the eyes were so bad until I started this new job, sitting in front of a computer all day...it's tiring. And I don't even want to talk about the dentist...my all time worst night-mare.
I know it's frustrating when you "know" something isn't right...but you can't figure out what it is. Trust me, I've been there and done that...hope for the best...whatever it may be...that you find the answer and get back to feeling like yourself again. Good luck, I'll keep you in my prayers...

I got a pair of regular glass last time (bi-focals) and a pair of prescription computer glasses. I LOVE the computer glasses. They just have you figure out about how far you sit from your monitor, then they figure the strength you need. They are wonderful.:thumbup:

Hmmmm...I do wear bifocals. I've never even heard of computer glasses, must check into that. My eye doctor says I'm this close to trifocals...what next???

Ok, you need to have one of those doctors adopt you so you can get a discount! That's a whole basket of appointments there lady. Take a good book to while away the time waiting.

MRI's are soooo much fun.:rolleyes: I hope all goes well.

Hello, Omega!! I am so far doing fine. A little tired but I thank God everyday that I can still walk and do everything normally. I hope your MRI goes fine. Its like putting your head in a tin bucket and someone tapping loudly on it. I have had 2 and they were ok. Just have to keep perfectly still.Its funny how when you have to be perfectly still, your nose starts to itch!!!!!!!LOL Good luck!!!!!!!!!

He has febriale seizures cause from spikes in your body temp. But because of the frequency of them they are thinking its more a trigger seizure because he doesnt go into convulsions of shaking.. he twitches and makes an uhh uhh sound. its scary as hell though everytime he has one we get flown to the childrens hosp in phx for 3-4 days. its not fun at all.. Trigger seizures from what i'm being told is a type of seizure that isnt like one. Meaning your body doesnt react like a grand mal or like how bubba does. Sorry if this confuses you.. But your neurologist will explain everything to ya they are the brain folks that love to tell jokes and are on the lighter side of life.. We love ours.. I hope you feel comfortable with yours. We've also given tons and tons of blood too some even to tx for additional testings dont worry you want them to test for everything so nothing is left out.. its better that way.

One of my son's teachers has MS and she must be going on 60. Wonderful, caring lady. She has been ok just till recently when she has had a bit of a hard time walking. I hope yours progresses really slowly, too.

Theres a possibility. Bruce isn't like most babies he's special ( i refuse to say challenged) he is delayed due to late diagnosis of hydrocephalus and every day can be a struggle but just makes him that more special and his character is building more and more each day. For febrial seizures they are the most common in even a normal child or baby and they can outgrow them by 4-5 yrs of age. Bruce hopefully will in that time frame but I prepare myself for the worst and will definately welcome the best..

When I was in the hospital earlier this month, I met my high deductible so the rest is free for the year!!!!! :D

I'm really frustrated this morning with all this. It takes me so much longer to type stuff. I get so mad at myself. :( I AM thankful that I can even see, etc... it\'s just that it gets frustrating at times.
