It doesn't make a bit of difference to me.:) I mostly call people by their screennames because it is easier than remembering names or reading signatures. |
I would like to be called "Her Royal Highness" (:p:D ) but since my family refuses to, I guess you all can call me Jen or Jennifer.:D I used to have it (Jennifer) in my signature line but took it out when I got Reno. It didn't look right, kind of out of balance. |

My name is Katrina and its in my signature but people called me Kat, Katie etc. It really doesnt matter if you call me by my name or by my screen name as long as you are being nice ;) |
Well it really does not matter if I am called Brandy of adorame on here, some have noticed ny name is in my signature so they will call me Brandy ;) others call me adorame, no biggie. |

It really doesn't matter to me, but I'll probably answer faster if one calls me "Tracy" lol. Sometimes people don't use quotes so I never really know if they're talking to me or not unless I see my screen name or real name. |
Good question. I used to prefer "AlaskaYorkie," and I don't even know why. Maybe the anonymity? I dunno. But I eventually came around and am flattered when people use my real name. On the other hand, I don't go to great measures to call others by their real names. If it's in their sigs, I try to. If not, I use their user names. On another forum, they call me AY. I think that's pretty cute. |

This topic came up recently, and I think more people have begun to add their names to their sigs. I like that :) Most of us spend a part of each day here, and it seems odd to address folks by screen names if we post every day. It seems so impersonal. Please call me ada. It's in my sig for a reason - to be used :D. I like addressing folks by their real names, but can't remember everyone and realize not everyone wants their real names known here. Sooooo....unless it's a long-time member, whose name I've seen used by others, or the name is in the sig line, I will use the nick. |

I like to be called by my name Michelle but after people get to know me they usually end up calling me Michi either is fine. Plus I have Michi in my signature so that will be fine. |

I like being called Vicki but it flatters me when people call me BLEUS MOMMY! I am a career professional woman and I get called Vicki or Mrs. Barber all the time .. I come here to relax so as long as it is nice .. Call me what you want! I sometimes get confused and dont know what to call people or their furbabies so I just kinda do the best I can! Oh yes and for the record I know how to spell and type but when it comes to forums ummmm you see what you get !! I am not getting paid to be here so why take the time to correct my mistakes or my fastness ... Im not being ugly but it kinda gets me when someone corrects me this is a forum not a essay or a book report or a 2008 medical budget that I do every year and get a a+ on! I really enjoy it when people address me by my first name, as it makes me feel closer to everyone and accepted .... being fairly new myself. I know that perhaps I have addressed some of you by your personal names and if I have offended you by doing so ... I do apologize. |
My screenname is my name and year i was born. It doesn't matter to me either as long as it's not mean :D But i might do like the others and put my name at the end of my post or in my sig |

Well Im Paula, but Im really close with Paulapoo, and we are in chat a lot so everyone just calls me Diggy. So Diggy is fine or Paula. I thinka few have came up with other choice names for me and I answer to those too. :p |

I like to be called by my name, Edith! I don't like to be called by my s/n.. but I know a lot of members don't know my name (so that'k ok).. It is in my siggy:) This is a wonderful thread as sometimes I wonder what people like to be called:D |

I don't care at all. Just talk to me. :D Sometimes, I think it's confusing even when the names are in the signatures - If I don't know them or if they don't put "mom (or dad) to"..., it's hard to tell if that's mom's (or dad's) name or a furbaby's name. :eek: |
I was so very happy to be able to post my story and by doing so.. I can now have my name on any posts along with my dogs name's.. So I am happy or good with either or.. I am just so glad now to just be able to be me, and use my name.. instead of pooh's mum all the time... |
