Oh Marci, I am so glad that he was found alive and is going to be ok. Prayers were answered.

Glad he is ok.
The same thing happened to my cousin and she was lost for almost 2 days.

She said everything looked just plain WHITE and she did not know which way to go.
Thankfully, the helicopters found her and medi-vacced <sp> her to the nearest hospital.

She recovered and now she will never go out in the snow mountains like that again.
I am so glad your cousin is on the way to recovery.
Please keep us updated.

I talked to my cousin Becca today. She said Brodie is doing ok. he is still in ICU because his enzymes skyrocketed (they should be between 200-400 and they are at 3000 which the doctors said is normal after your body has been through trauma) . His foot is not looking good but they aren't sure yet if he will loose it. THey are hoping his foot will heal without causing infection to his leg which can happen and will cause him to loose his leg from the knee down. Becca is very overwhelmed.. netierh of them are working right now (she just quit and just started a new job but being with him is 24/7 right now) he is on short term disability but money is still tight... she said he won't be able to go back to his normal job because even if he doesnt loose his feet they will always be painful for the rest of his life and she is quite nervous that he will just sit around the house feeling sorry for himself instead of finding a job that he CAN do. this is definitly testing their marriage and any prayers you can send her way would be wonderful. She is so strong. I'm going to go up to the Soo this weekend to see her. Thanks again for everything.

Sounds like they are falling into a common trap - GETTING AHEAD OF THEMSELVES. God has a plan, and if they are patient and listen, they will figure out how this fit into that plan.

One day at a time.......................

The first round of prayers worked. Sounds like they still need prayers for strength, wisdom, and patience.......

that's what i said.. not TO her.. but to my mom.. she is getting ahead of herself... thanks for the prayers!

Praying for complete healing. May Brodie be able to discover a passion for a new line of work. Praying for God's peace in their lives right now, and the willingness to lean on Him.

Just wanted to update all of you. Brodie is doing GREAT. both of his hands are going to make a full recovery and his foot is looking GREAT just the tips are grey so at the most he''ll loose a few toe tips... all your prayers have worked!

That's wonderful. So good to celebrate the good stories amidst all the sad ones. Hopefully, they're working through all their other worries s-l-o-w-l-y now. :)

yes... i think they both realized how overwhelming things get if you look too far ahead... she said they celebrated today that he was able to go down to the caf (in a wheelchair) by himself today.. baby steps :)
