ok guys my cousin just got a call from someone out at camp (where he was.. it's like a cottage.. but we call it camp) and thye have found him but they just don't know if he is dead or alive. i have no idea what that means.. maybe they found his snomobile and are looking to see if he is near it.. i don't know.. i should know within the hour either way.. please pray harder than you ever have that he is alive.. she needs him.

i know you can't pronounce someone dead until they arrive at hospital.. i'm worried that's what's holding up the "news" of how he is

Prayers coming your way!! Even if he has hypothermia, there is good recovery rates. I don't know what the temperture is like in Ontario, but it is really cold here in Manitoba.

thanks for the good thought! here in london ontario it is -25 with windchill.. i'd imagine it is the same up north.. they have shut down all the highways going in and out of the soo... but at least they have found him.. that part is over.. now we just need to hear how he is....

prayed all through the thread & still praying he is alive and will be ok. Praying for your cousin to, may she be strong. How wonderful that she has you. I am so sorry you're not together.

I see the updated news where he has been found but it doesnt say anymore other than paramedics were tending to him.

ya.. it was worded funny wasn't it? i'm hoping since they made his name public it means he is ok.. usually they will withold it until all his family has been notified.. if in fact he died... the waiting is impossible...

Yes I agree on the name being given out, that has to be a good sign. I keep hitting refresh on this post , my stomach is in knots for you. Snowmobiling is so much fun but at the same time so dangerous. We have lost more than a few friends to the sport.

when my uncle called he said to not pay too much attention to sootoday.com, however it is so hard to not keep pushing refresh in hopes that they have good news... however i know there have been times when they have been given misinformation.

in the good event he is alive (my dad and i were talking and said that if they released his name on sootoday.com it probably means he is alive) i hope he has lost a few fingers and toes in this ordeal... but i'll keep you guys posted...

OK Good news i THINK... my dad just got a text msg from my uncle (not sure WHY he didn't call) and all it says is that "I udnerstand Brodie is not lifethreatening. so... kinda werid but i think that means he is alive?? what do you think??

I think that means he is going to be fine...maybe he is on the phone and used the cell until he could get off so you would be able to breathe.
