Urghhhhh!!!!! I just need to vent..... My husband went to Oaxaca mexico last week and is supposed to come home saturday and he just called me and said he spent all his money drinking and partying and doesnt have any money for his hotel or to take the bus back to the airport and can I send him some money......

What irritates me even more, I collect wine and I am a wine lover, not to the extreme I may have 5-7 glasses a WEEK which is supposed to be very healthy, i never drink more than one or two drinks at a time unless its new years or a b-day or something like that, well i finally just stopped b/c he would get mad if i had ONE glass of wine,

I'm so pi$$ed off right now I have tears in mhy eyes:mad: :mad:

I dont have any money to send him, I had to put gas in my car and buy groceries and live while he is off partying away all his money

I am so sorry you are going through this. I understand and will be praying for you and your hubby. Relationships are really hard sometimes. I am married 26 years now and we have had our ups and downs. GOd Bless ya hon...

I'm sorry to hear this! Sometimes, we have to wonder if they have brains at all..:rolleyes: :eek:

Has he done stuff like this before? Have you addressed this to him? Maybe he needs to know how you feel and obviously needs a little more respect for you, his loving wife.

No this is the first time he has ever done anything like this, its like he cant even have a glass of vino with me on my birthday or our anniversary but he can go and part for a whole week and spend everything he has as well as my last paycheck I gave him to go down there with, makes me wonder what else he spent all that money on, anyone who has ever been to mexico knows, the beer is very cheap

Oh honey, I am so sorry this is going on in your life right now. I would sit down with him when he gets back and have a "talk". I have been married almost 40 years and I can tell you there were lots of times when I wanted to knock him up side the head with a ball bat!!!! Maybe he needs to WALK to the airport:D Prayers coming your way.

Did he go by himself? What was the occasion? I dont want to seem nosey...just trying to get a better understanding of this whole thing--and maybe give you some freindly advice. :)

Being married for 31 years, my response would be too bad too sad..you were stupid, you figure out how to get out of the mess...Guess this is why we've been married so long..it's called being responsible for our own actions..

thanks girl, he went alone his grandmother lives there and she died so he thought he should go (he seems to really be mourning huh)
i know i shouldnt jump to conclusions and i know he loves me but i am just sooo mad and hurt:(

I would be mad and hurt too. Money (rather what to do with it) is the hardest thing for couples to agree on, I swear. I feel for you hun! I wish I had more to say than just this: HUGS!!! :hug:

he is in a different town now ( he doesnt like to stay with them because they live in a very rural area and they dont even have indoor plumbing :eek: so I guess he went to the funeral and then went into the city and got a hotel so he's hours away and its only his grandfather who has one foot in the grave at this point anyway)

Did he fly there? Can't he call the airlines and changes his flight & come home sooner?

;) Some times the best way to deal with someone we love, is to let them figure it out for themselves. If you don't have the money don't send it.

If it was me...id leave him down there!! Of course my husband and I have not spent even one night apart with the exception of basic training in the 5 1/2 years we have been together. I could never imagine taking a trip without him, and he feels the same way.
I hope you get through this...beer is very cheap down there, have you asked him what else he did with the $$ he took with him??

:D he is........im not sending him any money he knew better and this may sound ugly but he got himself into this he can find a way out it would be one thing if he "lost" his money or he was mugged

I am sorry dear.I have been married 20 years this month been together for 25.We have had our share of trials,part of the package with a man I think.I would not send him any either .
But I do not think my hubby would of done that either.Good luck with whatever you decide.Go have another glass of wine:) .Being it is in the am have a extra one tonight;)
