Was Feeling Sad
 
Many of you know my story, for those of you that don't My Mom, went home to Jesus 3 days ago.
Anyway, I was just sitting at the computer trying to lose myself in Yorkieland,
and something told me to get off my butt and check the mail, of course I hadn't thought about the mail in days.
Anyway, I open the door and this package is just sitting there, addressed to me, no return name or address. I opened it and inside is the cutest Yorkshire terrier boxed calender, you know the ones with a pic of a yorkie and a quote for every day of the year, and a Yorkie two-year pocket planner for me to carry in my purse.
I just busted out crying, because I felt so good about getting this little gift.
Just wanted to share this with you! Did any of you guys do this???

That was SWEET and it could easily have been someone from here - we have so many people that wouldn't think twice about doing something nice like that for someone -

and again - I'm sorry about your mom....

thats so sweet,I'm so sorry for your Loss. I hope you dont mind but here is the poem we put in my moms funeral memorial .
GOOD NIGHT ,MOTHER MINE
Life is so wonderful,life such as thine;
Death cannot end it,dear mother of mine!
Morning will come again giliding the trees,
Spring notes will sound again sweet on the breeze!
This is not dying , my brave mother dear,
Thou art but climbing up out of here,
Out of thy struggles and out of thy pain,
Out where with christ life will flower again,
So then ,good night,mother,only good night;
Turn thy dear face to the mansions of light.
Life is so wonderful,life such as thine;
Death cannot end it.
Good night, Mother mine!

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. And Scrappysmom, that poem in just beautiful.... I have never heard that before.

I only read the first line and started crying........i lost my mum 7 years ago, and my dad wont see any of us anymore since mums gone, so its like ive lost them both!

What a beautiful surprise for you. I am so sorry about the loss of your mother and very glad you were able to get someone to watch your babies for you.

awww thats so great and thoughtful of someone to do for you! :) Im sorry to hear about your mom though. I can't imagine. My prayers are with you and your family.

That is really cool that someone would do that! I even said an out loud "awww" when I read it! I'm really sorry about the loss of your mom, I can only say time does help.

That was a really nice thing for someone to do. Time will ease the pain that your feeling right now. I can say that cause I lost my mom in 2003. Please know that I am thinking of you.
