Can you believe this!!! Yesterday morning as I was getting ready for church I was watching our local news and every Sunday morning they have a pet segment(sp:confused: ) were they show a dog or a cat that is up for adoption in one of our local shelters and give advice to pet owners. Yesterdays was about microchip but anyway that is not my point. They had a beautiful 1 yr old Malti-poo that was the pet of the week and was up for adoption. Well the malti-poo had some very not so bright original owners because he was given to the shelter because they didn't know and these are the words of the shelter worker "that he needed to pee and poop" This caught the news anchor off guard and it bothered him so he was like people this dog actually needs to pee and poop. And then goes on to say, "I hope those people don't have children." I was so with him and laughing at his comment too. But how can people be so careless and think that a dog will be housebroken before it is taught? I guess it goes to show that people just want an animal without all of its responsabilities. |
yeah some people dont get that a pup is just like having a CHILD of your own. You are their everything!! |
What??!! Is that for real??!! Some people...... |
I actually heard that some people think that Yorkies don't poop. I thought the woman was joking but she was dead serious:eek: |

I just felt so bad for the poor pup it was soo cute. If it wasn't because hubby already said no more (we have 2) I would of gone to the shelter and adopted him. |
This is unbelievable!! About as crazy as one time when my daughter was an infant, we were at the doctor & he told me about a couple who had come in the night before with their newborn, complaining that she wasn't eating well for them, when inquired about whether they were nursing or bottle feeding? And what had she eaten last? He was shocked when they told him, they feed her some hamburger from a soft shell taco    He had to to teach them they couldn't feed the baby real food for mths & go into indepth detail about caring & feeding for the baby! - He was a pediatrician & just so confused, but grateful they had come to his office. |
