they are pretty sure it is strept b and meningitis although jessicas blood test was clear from it before she had him she did have a cold and they think he got it because she had the cold. they are doing surg today to implant an IV and starting stronger meds. he will be in the hosp for 14 more days. we are thankful they finally know how to treat him best and thank everyone for their prayers. in a couple of days they want to do a hearing and neuro test because meningitis can cause these him to go deaf and or retardation. the good thing is that the meningitis was not the contageous kind so we dont all have to be treated.

boy is the center for disease controll ever mad at the first hospital we took him to when she noticed he was sick they messed up soo bad on Aaden, they did the spinal tap in the wrong place and could have killed him , lost the blood work and tehn tried to cover that up by saying they just didnt finish doing tests on it, also started the blood work after they started the anitbiotics. the CDC is going to go to that hospital and have a meeting with everyone that was there that had anything to do with Aaden. i think the dr.s are thinking that we should think about a law suite. along with the CDC they are giving us all the paper work from the first and second hosp and the one he is in now.

Oh my goodness this is awful.. sending prayers to the whole family, and a special one for Aaden.. keep us posted.. he is adorable..

What a nightmare you all are going thru. I'd sue the pants off that hospital for sure. Please get some sleep. I'll be sending out prayers that Aaden makes a complete recovery. Warm hugs to all of you.

I was thrilled when you posted his first pictures and was dumbfounded when I read this thread

I am so sorry. I hate that you even have to waste effort and energy thinking about the mistakes that were made or things that were missed or if something should be done about them There will be plenty of time for sorting all that out later. Right now, thoughts and prayers for that little one's and your entire family's strength and your medical team's wisdom and skill.

I'm so sorry to hear about little Aaden and his illness. Such a little sweetheart and he shouldn't have to face such difficulties. I have prayed for him and for all of you, and will continue to do so. Bless his heart. I pray he overcomes this with no lasting effects. Hugs to you. He is so adorable.

I am so very sorry that the joy of having a baby has been dampened a bit by Aaden's illness. I am so glad that they were able to find out what is wrong with the sweet little one and can start treat him appropriately.
