I wish I could hybearnate(lol) all winter in my house. I hate going out in this weather.

I feel your pain :rolleyes: It's 1 degree here, but feels like -11 due to the wind chill :thumbdown Our HIGH today is 16! It seems like the furnace runs non-stop... Last night we made a fire and snacks and watched a movie-when it's that cold all I want to do is NOTHING, LOL!

I forget where you live, but hopefully it will warm up soon for you!

It's 3* here & we're still under a winter storm/blizzard warning until noon. The wind is just ripping out there. But it should clean up ok, there's a nice thick layer of ice under the snow. We had a 1/2 inch of rain & 45* last evening before the bottom dropped out.

are you getting the wind to ?? im in the same boat as you but our winds are at 50 mph.it was 44 degress last night at 10pm wow it sure did drop fast
im around the bay city area:)

wow same here, we must be close to each other;) this wind is awful, 150 school closings and 30,000 with no power:(

It's so cold here too and the winds are up to 60 miles an hour....we are not getting as much snow as the rest of you but that wind and cold are going right through you...burrr...for sure. Bring on Spring!!:D

Oh my gosh!! I can't imagine weather that cold! Freezes me just thinking about it, and I'm hot natured!!!

Sorry it's so cold there. It's been in the 60's here and that feels like freezing. I've been wearing a winter coat when I go for my walks.

We are having a heat wave, 44 degrees today but raining.
I'll take the rain anyday over SNOW:eek:

my furnace has been running nonstop ,i hate to see my gas bill this month .

Yesterday it was 40 degrees at this time and today it is -14 with -45 wind chills....I think every school is closed today in Wisconsin due to the wind chill factor. I can't get the Yorkies to go outside to go potty...guess I will be on mess duty today..

-25 below 0 here....it is wonderful...LOL, it hurts to breathe when you go outside....I cannot wait for Spring to get here!

WE had blizzard conditions yesterday with 3 inches of fresh snow,you could not see past 10 yards at times.Today all is beautiful the pine trees look awesome.
No ice here I hate that makes a mess then we loose power.
Today was -15 when we got up and windchill 40 below.
I love winter.We had 45 degrees on sun!!Big change over.
My sister lives in Grand Marais and they had ice,it is usually the other way around we get the ice and them the snow..

Freezing here too!!! It is officially 16 degrees but with wind gusts of 30-40 mph, windchill of -0!!!! Sooooo windy last night (gusts up to 60 mph) that power is out all over - including our house. I am currently at the library to warm-up. Our house is at 52 degrees right now. Thank goodness for warm sweaters and tons of blankets for the girls. According to our power company, we are supposed to be restored within 10 hours. That would take us up to midnight, so we have to decide if we're hunkering down or leaving!!!!!

This morning when I went to work it was -1, by the time I came home I thought we were having a heat wave... it got up to 12 degrees..... I can't wait til spring.......

Just thought I would pop in a let y'all know that right now it is -18F and with the windchill it is -43F. I haven't left my house :D
