up date on my wrist went to the doctor today ,they did not give me my x rays from the hospital so i have to pick them up tomorrow and take them to the specialist wednesday,i dont know when they are going to do the surgery,she said there is alot of swelling ,they changed my medicine from vicoden to Percocet,because the vicoden wasnt doing anything for the pain i didnt sleep very well last night i was up and down all night my furbabys didnt get much sleep they followed me around all night. |

I sure hope your new pain medication works for you. I have been there done that and it isn't any fun -- my problem was my leg and not my wrist.... You will carry my well wishes and prayers with you when you visit the doctor. |
I hope you feel better, and that you have a speedy recovery. I never broke a bone (knock on wood) but from what you described in your first post about it, I can only imagine how painful it is. I used to be an Xray assistant and saw a lot of nasty fractures, ones of joints totally dislocated and bent backwards, shattered bones, a lot of it and they would make me cringe at the thought of the pain. Just make sure like others were saying, you don't put off healing this. The longer you wait the worse it can get, and harder to heal. Praying for the best for you! |
ugh... that stinks! I hope you get some relief soon... you'd think it would sooner than wednesday though! take care of yourself! |

i got some sleep last night i took 2 percocets at 10;00 about 10;30 my husband said i was out i woke up in the middle of the night to get a drink because i was thristy i took a glass of pop to bed with me i rememder taking a drink and thats all .my husband woke up about 3;00 am because the bed was wet he thought one of the babys pissed in the bed until he saw me holding a glass he woke me up to tell me i spilt my drink and he said i said ok and went back to sleep he had to keep waking me up so he could change the bedding .i guess i was so out of it i didnt have a care in the world. |
