I read on MSN that they found him naked at the end of his bed and there was a bottle of sleeping pills.... who knows. Very sad. My daughter heard that his girlfriend had broken up with him |
It is very sad that he has died. I hope his little girl will be okay. I hope & pray that Britney Spears will NOT be next...and that the paparazzi will just leave her alone long enough for her to straighten her life out. I think she is the perfect example of what happens when a parent pushes their child into fame at such a young age. She never got to be a kid. I think "child stars" have it a lot harder than most people think... |
that is so sad. It really shocked me. They are conducting an autopsy today... let's see what they say. |
The results are inconclusive. They will need another 10-14 days for the tox results to come back. According to the ME. The reports of pills spread around was wrong. There were a couple bottles of meds around. I heard something on the radio this morning saying that he had started taking the ambien because he was highly disturbed after filiming his part in the new batman movie. Sounds weird to me. There are also some reports that were from friends (names undisclosed of course) that his wife put him out becuase of a drug problem. Not sure if it is true but it's sad if that is the case. |
This is one of those things that just feel like a punch in the stomache when you hear it because he not a person I would have expected to die so young. I think it is premature of all of the "rags" out there to publish that he was some drug addict that overdosed until they get the toxicology report and have the facts. I have read he was treated for anxiety and had a bout of pneumoina recently and it could have been an accidental overdose of prescription drugs mixed with over the counter sleeping pills or something. I hate that his family has to read all of the bad press about him doing drugs and commiting suicide when they are having to deal with learning he has died. How sad.:( RIP Heath, you were a beautiful man and a great talent. You will be missed!!!!!! |
I was shocked this morning when I saw I think it was the NY Post on someone's lap on the train on my way into work...it's front page said that he OD...I mean come on now you can't know that it takes time to find that out. They just put that out there and they are not sure if it's true. There should be a law that no doctor or pharmacist should be allowed to dispense meds unless they check to see if the person is taking something else that can conflict with what is being prescribed. I know you can't control what they lie about but at least it gives a leg up on avoiding a possible problem. |

They said this morning that there were some meds prescribed over in Europe in his possession. I am telling you there needs to be some sort of database that cross references your meds so you know what will or won't interact poorly with another. Suprising they are saying the tox will come back that quick. I know when my MIL passed four years ago it took 6 weeks to come back. |

TMZ has learned what types of pills were discovered in the apartment where Heath Ledger was found dead. NYPD sources tell TMZ that nearly full pill bottles containing the anti-anxiety medications Alprazolam (Xanax), Diazepam (Valium) and Lorazepam (Ativan) were found in the apartment. The sleeping medication Zopiclone (Lunesta) and the sedative Temazepam (Restoril) -- which is used by people with "debilitating insomnia" -- were also found. All of the drugs were prescribed to Ledger. No mention of illicit drugs. Toxicology reports are due in a few days. |

BTW, has anything new been released about Heath's death? (I don't watch the news often because my hubby is in the Army and the news bothers me.) I hope that an OD is ruled out soon, for his family's sake! So sad... |
