sexiixtc FYI if you're North you'll pay more than South. We discovered that really quickly. There are lots of nice apartments in Naperville for $1000/month. $1200-$1500 for a really nice one. The train is right there, but it's a good 45 min ride. I did it for 9 months and it nearly killed me, but my uncle has done it for 15 years. Check along the BNSF or UP West lines. I'll never work in the city again... |
They have awesome cheap homes in Aurora.. but that's about 2 hours from where we live right now.. I don't want to go that far.. but it seems that's all we can afford... oh, and have you noticed how they make these new houses now (not to offend anyone).. It seems like they're making it with the cheapest material, in the quickest amout of time possible.. just to ask 500k for a two bedroom home:eek:  |

I grew up out here and my husband grew up near O'Hare. Houses on his parents block are like 800sf ranches selling for $300-350K. So we pretty much didn't have a choice but to live out here! |

yeah right now, we're in Franklin Park.. next door to Rosemont.. and about 10-15 minutes from the loud airport |
Eeek! Those prices are really high. I complain about paying $580 a month for a 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath 1,200 sqft apt. Our apartment is fairly new as well. Wow! I'm glad I live in hee haw ville. :) |
