I think the coldest I have ever been, was when we went to the UP in MI snowmobiling. We left on Christmas Day & stayed for 3 days....you really don't know cold, till you go there!!!!

hi Im here... Im bored. I shouldn't be, but my mind is not where it SHOULD be today. I woke up annoyed and its not getting better. Im trying the whole 'fake smile' thing and its just not working today. So unlike me! More snow here tonight! CRAZY!!! Im trying to not let it irritate me more since I cant stop it! It reminds me of that commercial where everyone grabs something big and goes running to the top of the hill and try to block the sunrise but they cant and they all start back home looking defeated and the comentator says something like "Trying to stop monday morning?" LOL that would be ME trying to push away those snow clouds tonight!!! haha

I work for a tax company. Were not really busy yet, but in about 2 weeks we wont be able to breathe!

I work for the local electric cooperative & since it is cold, the people aren't worried that we will shut them off-so we are slow today

I'm in California also and to me, it's cold! I miss the snow so much. We are going to Tahoe this weekend to go snowboarding and let Lucy get her first taste of the white stuff :)

What is everyone else doing over the holiday if you have it off?

I use frozen breats & put it on in the morning & cook on low all day!!!
That sounds good. I'm going to print it out and give it a try :) Do you serve it over rice or past or is it good as it is?

As is! My 21 year old son loves it!!!!! I usually make a french bread loaf to go with it!

i wish i saw this thread earlier today...havent felt like working at all yet so much to do! im in the process of selling my business so hopefully i wont have to "work" anymore! just do things i want to do, not have to do!

im not liking the cold either...just got back from costa rica, and its -2 here...(in celcius..not sure what that is in ferinheight(sp?)

i grew up in thunder bay and i remember school being canceled because it was too cold to go outside....-40 i think was the worst...no blizzard or snow storm...just too damn cold to leave the house! :eek:

Our big lab is having surgery in his ear canal next week wed. He has had chronic ear infections the last year....say prayers cuz' he is 11 years old & has never had anthesia...his name is Shooter & our first non-yorkie dog ever!!! My son wanted a "real" dog when he turned 10!!!!

sorry to hear about your lab ,sending prayers that his surgery goes well and a speedy recovery.

Thanks, it is a little spooky & pretty expensive, but he is healthy & should live quite a few more years. We were worried that because of his age, they wouldn't want to do it. This is my son's 1st "his dog" only!!! So he is pretty worried about him. You should've heard this big burly 21 year old on the phone w/the vet. I was almost in tears!!! Guess we raised him right!!!

This is a no mess up crockpot dish....if they are frozen chicken breasts-high for about 4hours & low for about 2, or low for 8 hours. If they are fresh breasts-you can do 8 hours on low or bout 4 on high!! did this make sense?

My husband has a shop at home so if I put it in frozen before I leave for work...I put it on high & have him turn it to low at noon. We eat it around 5:30.
