Well, I have been a regular member of my gym for the past nine years. Love to work out.
I also really like photography, and shopping (come on, I'm a girl) and of course ... Yorkie Talk.com!
But most of all, I love spending time with my two boys....my boyfriend Julien and my little guy Deegan! :heart to

Wow, Courtney, that cross stitch design is so pretty!! Is that linen? That will be a wonderful keepsake.

Yep its linen. Its for my husband's brother and his soon to be wife, if I finish it. She's really sweet and is the type that will really treasure something like that so hopefully she will get it in time. I guess this is where I should get off this darn computer and start doing it again.

I've made lots and lots of jewelry and I've done over 20 scrapbooks. Can we say, "too much time on my hands??". Maybe I need to get a job...

WOW :eek: ! That is a lot! I started collecting Disney Tapes when my kids were little.

Well...let's see!

Like Cynthia, I collected a lot when my kids were young including American Girle dolls, Madame Alexander Dolls, Beanie babies and pokemon cards. I also love vintage clothing and accessories. I collect seashells from our travels and display them around the house. I also collect candles!

Like Laura, I also have a new home and love to decorate. I also do faux painting and stenciling as well as tile work. I am in the process of a mosaic on our outdoor bar top. In my last house I tiled four bathroom floors in beautiful mosaics. I hated to move and leave my artwork!

I also do a lot of charity work for the Cancer Society, Meals on Wheels, the Humane Society, Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity and others, I am the liason for my charity group for the San Diego Youth and Community Services. It is very rewarding work.

I watched an Extreme Makeover: Home Edition episode where they did something like that. It was AMAZING!!! I would love to see some pictures of the mosaic and tile work you did. I am always floored by the intricacy of that kind of work.

I, also collect rhinestone brooches from the 30's/40's etc. ..and Yorkie jewelry. I picked the smaller stuff to keep..it was very hard to downsize.
I have a feeling that eventually I will have to downsize my tea cup collection, but right now I enjoy having tea parties occasionally. I'll bet it was hard for you to decide which ones to give up. My hat pins and salt dips don't take up a lot of space.

Every craft I picked up I did so because noone else in my family did. Here's some pics of what (cross-stitch) I'm doing now. The first is what its suppposed to look like if I ever get it finished. The next two are of mine. Its supposed to be finished by the first of Aug by the way.
Keep working, it looks great! I made my daughter a tatted garter and a tatted hankie for her wedding 3 years ago. I also have quilt tops from my grandmother and one from my great grandmother. My mother crocheted tablecloths for my sister and I and all of her grandchildren. She is now in a nursing home and unable to crochet anymore. My daughter has taken up the craft of crochet....isn't it strange how most of us do things to remember grandmothers...
