What you say is definitely true, though I use a different word to refer to him when he's acting that way...he hates being called that! LOL |

That's so funny! My friend and I were just talking about that this morning LOL. Her hubby is just getting over a cold and mine has one. Oh my gosh they're the biggest babies when they get sick!:D |

I sympathize! |
OMG!!! That is EXACTLY how my hubby is too when he's "not feeling well"... Not only do they want you to wait on them [hand and foot], they whine!!! it gets so annoying fast! Then they get angry at US  for being annoyed/irratated at them! I understand how you must be feeling, esp being preggers and all...(My skin baby is 10 months now) Hubby was sick last month (around the holidays!) and was such a complainer! He would lay around all day in front of the TV asking for everything from tissues to water.. Ok, but how many times did I watch him get up to for other things (phone calls, laptop, look in the fridge, rummage through the pantry, bathroom, etc) Mysteriously, he wasn't well enough to get up when I came around.. Mind you, I was extremely busy with household crap AND a 9 month old baby! AARRGGHH!! |

IT IS TRUE. I am that way. My father was that way. There, I said it. One thing I learned is that men are catered to by their mothers (with some obvious exceptions, as in all things) much more as boys than their sisters. My father used to lay in bed, moaning for more water, pills, Kleenex...while my mother was able to run the house and get things done with a 102 degree fever. Interesting sociological/gender issue... LOL But I am working on it... Matthew |
Don't even get me started on this topic. My husband gets sick and omg you would think there is a national emergency. What's even funnier is when he gets a scratch. A couple weeks ago, he and Smokey were playing and Smokey accidently nipped towards his face and gave him a SCRATCH on his forehead, but he insisted it was a GASH... no sweety, GASHES include stitches. That was a scratch. Then a couple days later his thumb was bleeding for some weird reason and caused a blister... you would have thought his thumb was being cut off... After all that, I still manage to love him :-) |
:sidesplt: :sidesplt: :sidesplt: thanks ladies & Matthew for giving me a great laugh tonight -- I don't have a DH, keep them I want one....but really don't need a big baby to care of. |
