DVD Camcorders? We're looking to purchase a DVD camcorder and I'm just stumped. There are so many different specs and things to look for. Any suggestions on a good one that is fairly priced? |
i was looking for a dvd camcorder a while back and decided to go with a digital one instead. its just like a digital camera... you record, take pictures, and then just upload them to the computer and i burn them on to dvds from my computer. i like it because i can edit and delete things or add things before its permenently on the disc. |
I also considered digital as well. Do you have to constantly buy memory cards for it? This is how little we know, lol. We thought that if we went with DVD, the costs in the long run would be lower because we would be putting the stuff straight onto disc. If we went digital, we were worried that we'd constantly be buying memory cards AND dvd's to burn it on. |

Hmmm.... that's good to know. With my digital camera I do the same thing. I just use the same memory card over and over. I wonder what the quality difference is wth DVD and Digital. With DVD, I believe that the record time is very short. I'm not sure with digital. We do a lot of video recording with all the kid's activities and what not. Image stabilizer is a must. Other than that... I don't know much else, lol. |
i have the sony handicam and i really do like it.... http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/...uctId=11039141 i know there are alot of really good ones out there though... so do ur research and compare! |
