Any Trading Spaces fans?? Does anyone watch Trading Spaces?? I used to be OBSESSED with Trading Spaces back when it was really popular but have stopped watching it in recent years. Have you heard the news?? Paige is coming back!! :p I am so excited. I love her! The new series starts at the end of the month. |

My daughter and I was just talking about this a couple weeks ago....we would watch trading spaces everyday....I think it would come on at 4:00(on the days I didn't work) and then while you were out came on after that....we loved it! Who was your favorite? Mine was the red curly haired southern girl...I can not think of her name...:rolleyes: |

Laurie is the red head..... I watched Trading Spaces before it was a big thing. My brother got me hooked on it. I watched about a year off and on after they let Paige go and then it was never the same for me. My fave is Genevieve, Vern (way back then), Frank, and then Doug but only for his venetian plaster! Did you see the one where Kia did the "grave"? |

Yep, I used to watch Trading Spaces all the time. I loved Genevieve and Frank. Vern was pretty good too. I also really like the female carpenter - what was her name :confused: I will watch it again, now that Paige is coming back. |

I used to watch it ALL the time!! Oh, and....:p My hubby and I went into Lowes and I heard this VOICE....I was like ok...I KNOW that voice from somewhere - it was so distinct and one that sounded like no other LOL. I turned around, and there was Frank!! :p He is soooo down to earth and so, so, SO nice. He was carrying his wife's dog in a pouch on his chest, LOL...I was ooh'ing and ahh'ing over it - so cute :D He was in there buying a light switch plate cover for his own house LOL. He gave me a hug and I was going to get his autograph, but of course I didn't have a stupid pen on me :mad: He said don't worry, I'm in the book, you can look me up...LOL. Just such a nice and funny guy :) P.S. - I am so glad that Paige is coming back - I love her! :D |
Love the show. I am glad that she is coming back. I thought it was hypocritical and crappy to take her off because of that sex tape. It's not her fault way back when she made a tape for personal reasons with a boyfriend and he turned into a scumbag trying to make a buck off of her career. She is so sweet. I can't wait to see the new season. Can I ask you when are they going to reel in Hildie with her off the wall designs. |

OMGosh! I didn't know Paige was coming back...that's great. Maybe her broadway stint has wined down some. I hadn't really watched it that much since she was gone..something about them doing there own reveals without her just wasn't the same. A couple of the designers I liked aren't on there anymore..But I like Laurie9redhead)and the guy with the white hair and glasses, Frank, he's funny...I'm a bold person but even Hilde scared me sometimes..:eek: I do remember the flowers all over the bathroom walls...and what about her putting a small dinette set on the ceiling...yes, wine glass glued to the ceiling upside down....when they were doing the reveal.....1 of the wine glasses fell to the floor and broke:eek: She's uh, creative!!??! And I remember the albums as wallpaper, the cardboard boxes....whew...I enjoy watching what she comes up with next tho....I really liked the othe girl also...she was heavy set, layered brown hair...she had very nice modern designs...and of course the carpenters are nice to look at....and i liked the lady carpenter too! I'll keep an eye out for the new episodes.... |

I love the show and am so glad that Paige is back. I think Hilde only did one room that I liked, it was a kitchen and she put tin tile on the ceiling. I loved how it looked so much that I wanted it for my house even though at the time we were renting. I am now redoing our house that we bought in August of 06 and I am putting tin tile up!! Every thing else I saw of hers was just too shocking..Remember when she painted the couches with fushia?? If I was on that show and saw her coming to my house I would bolt the door down!! Laurie was my favorite one! Her rooms alway's looked so nice and when she did a master bedroom it always looked romantic. The fabric she used was alway's very nice and she usually had nice colors that she went with, nothing too shocking. Vern also did good colors. My husband loves Frank and so does my mother! |
