Wow, Judy that pocketbook is really cute. :) But way out of my price range also. Hope you find a similar one in your price range. But where have I been?? A possible baby sister for Gizmo. :) :aimeeyork That would be really nice.

because its purdy!!!! I have a smaller Gucci bag that i got for christmas and i'm loving it. I also have a few LV bags and a prada messenger bag which i love as well.

That's gorgeous! I am a huge Gucci fan and loved this line when it came out!

Sometimes with really expensive bags, I break it down into how much it will cost me "per use" LOL. Like, if I know that I'm going to carry it nearly daily, then I feel okay paying more. If I know it's more of a bag for certain outfits or occassions -- I'll try not to buy high end.

I always try to buy high end bags when I can afford it, that are classic because once I find something I like, I'll stick with it for a while and the bags at department stores that are less expensive will wear out on me before I'm ready!

I've never paid more than $100 for a purse, but from what I've seen, the higher-end ones do seem to be of a better quality.

I wish I could like some of the ones that are more classic..brown, black, etc...for all seasons. But noooo...I have to like the flashy ones! lol!;) :rolleyes:

i LOVE handbags..and i know what you mean when you say that you want a real one! i have a little of both..real and knockoffs-and sometimes it just feels so good to buy the real thing!!;) the fake ones just arent the same-hehe. :rolleyes:
you can find MANY knockoffs that are high-quality and look identical, though(as im sure you know!;)) ..they aren't $25- or anything, like some of the cheaper ones..they still cost like $100+ but they last and you cant even tell the difference!!;) there is a place by my house..that has REALLY good ones..so if you ever want me to look, let me know! (i know you can find lots on ebay, etc. but when it comes to the purses i like to see them for myself..so i can judge quality, etc.;)

I have to admit that I'm guilty of buying the pricey flashy ones too! I have a D&G one that is orange and green leather with a gold strap :eek: who knows what possessed me to get that one, LOL!

But now with 4 furbutts and a mortgage, my fancy purse buying days are on hold :) So I get one nice bag, every oh 6-8 months depending on finances and need.

It stinks being responsible!! :p

I'll be on the lookout for a bag with a similar print/style for you! :)

Judy - that Gucci is beautiful! I have several Coach bags, a Kenneth Cole, and a couple of Fossil bags.
