Hope that you all are doing well..... Happy & Healthy!!
So, what are YOU going to do this weekend???
I am working tomorrow, but today we are going to start getting ready to start a remodel in our master-bedroom. We will be moving everything out.... and figuring out where we will be sleeping temporarily, where out clothes will be stored temporarily,...... etc. It will be a pain in the rear for awhile..... but the results will be worth it!

Cody James & I aren't doing much. Right now we're watching the morning news and just hanging out. Later tonight the Jacksonville Jaguar/Patriots came will be on! GO JAGSSSSSSSS !! :D

So we're just basically hanging out at home!

GOOD morning ~~ after getting up at 4:30 every weekday I slept in till 5:30 :D and the girls are SO happy I don't have to work today -

does it get easier leaving them when you all go to work ?? it's been 3 months since I started working after my husband died and they are NOT happy when I'm getting ready to leave......:( :( :(

this weekend - I'll be packing and hopefully getting a few Label orders done - With moving and all ...the extra $$ is a big help (thank you MissPinkBarbie !)

I think I have 80% pf my packing done but still have so much to do it makes me want to hide in a corner....I signed a lease for an apartment last week and move at the end of the month.

I know I should be looking at this as starting a new life but I've never been alone before and it's pretty scary. I hope the girls adjust better than I am....they'll sure miss their backyard:(

Good morning all and good luck on your remodeling. I am getting to play "mommy" this weekend to my neighbor's children who are 12 and 15. They are great kids and we are having a blast so far. Today I'm going to take them to a movie and then we are going to make cookies! How fun, they are a joy to have around and a good experience for my own future family. I hope everyone has a great day!:)

I think that your girls will get used to being alone.... but it will never change that you are greeted with excitment... It is a 5-10 minute ordeal when I get home... just to get in all the kisses!!!:p

"]....... does your apt complex have any grassy areas???..... We have several Xpens that we put in our yard, which makes a great excercise area. It may be something that you could do!!...... (of course, you will need a lawn chair & a fancy drink with an umbrella in it while you are watching them play!! ;) )

Good Morning........have fun with the remodel. Its bath day here, then off to starbucks and petco. Sticking close to home, ad in paper for two of the puppies, and were setting up another computor, and camera...Have a great weekend

hey there - I know what you mean about the ZOOM ! mine take an hour to get all their excitment out of their systems - they've never been alone before

and yes - I have a little grassy courtyard and a place I can sit - but Cheri is such a jumper she'd hurdle any expen I set up ....now the drink and umbrella sound pretty good. :) I think I'll get some extra long leashes where they can have some freedom yet still be attached to me - I've seen small dogs being walked but worry about bigger dogs

HI!! Ya know with all these new house ideas, I think Im going to take some tax money and do some of the smaller things that I want done, like paint my ENTIRE townhouse! Starting with the main floor! The only rooms that I already painted are the kitchen, master bedroom, and 2 bathrooms! I want to paint the main floor and the hallways, the entire finished basement and the spare bedroom (that one can wait though). And I think IM going to put new lights up! I have the UGLIEST light over my kitchen table! I also have these ceiling lights in the kitchen, basement and hallways that look like big white boobs with giant screw nipples! They are soooooooo UGLY! OH I can't wait to get my taxes back! haha :)

Otherwise tonight I get to go dress shopping for a formal dress for a formal party im going to in 2 weeks! Im excited! I like getting dressed up like that and feeling pretty once in awhile! :)

V - I have something called a tie-out! That might work for you! Its a stake that you screw into the ground and attach two long rope type things to it, and then to the dogs, they get a 25ft radius of the stake to run and play while you can sit back and watch them! I LOVE IT! And it was under $20 for the whole set up! I think the stake was $6 and the tie outs were $6/each! Right at petsmart! Its also great when I travel to someones house who does not have a fenced in yard, I just bring it and I can tie out my boys to play w/o having to worry about leashes and stuff! :) (of course we are out in the yard also, Id never tie them out w/o me being there)

I've seen those !! do they get tangled up alot ? I feel so bad - the girls are used to running thru my yard and having a little 'meet and greet' with their buddies on the other side of my fence - they ZOOM around when I let them out and I feel SO bad they won't have this kind of freedom anymore :( I may have enough 'grass' to do something like this I think - I'll know more when I get settled in - it's not the biggest courtyard I've seen at apartments - actually it's long and skinny

They can get a little tangled sometimes, but they are like plastic covered wire, so they do not tangle as easily as rope! it usually works out well! I know what you mean about tie them out and it not being the same! When I got my boys, even though I had a townhouse, my mom lived up the street in a house with a fenced in yard, for for over a year, Id bring them up there to just zoom around her yard with her dog! It was great! They dont have that freedom anymore and I felt sooo bad for them when she moved! Its not the same, but its a safe, cheaper way to give them some freedom! :)
