wind chimes, love em or hate em?
 
I couldn't sleep last night and it was very windy out so I layed there listening to the wind chimes......sometimes one of them would get into a steady rhythm....Since I was laying there anyway I mentally counted how many where out there.... I counted 10. :eek:

I remember sending one to my daughter because she loves them too....A few weeks later I asked her if she put it up yet, she said she did right away.... but after a few days she realized she wasn't hearing it so she went out to check it ..... it was tied into a tangled mess....she knew right away who did it, it was her fiance`.....turns out he HATES chimes....... I ran across this site looking for chimes, I'd love to add one of these glass ones to the chorus...

I love them. Hubby hates them. But he doesn't mess with them cause he loves his golf clubs to much. LOL I have them hanging all over my porch and deck. My favorite ones are the glass ones too. I finally found some in Maine last year. I love that tinkling sound.

I love wind chimes unless I have a headache and then I hate 'em. I lost my favorite one - a gift from a neighbor that came all the way from Poland!

We love them, but we only have 2. One is a beautiful blue glass bottle one kinda like the ones in your link.

We really love to hear them tinkle. The wind doesn't blow very much here, so sometimes when I go outside, I jingle them myself, just to hear them. :)

I love 'em, unless it's super windy outside and my largest one bangs against the window - ai yi yi!

I love them, and have quite a collection of them that I rotate to display out on my porch. I can hear all of mine tinkling now because it is so windy out right now.

LOL....I've went out and gave mine a litlle shake on occasion also..... That reminds me of the movie "Ray" where in the back flashes of his youth there where scenes of all these colored bottles tied all over in a tree....I loved that.....

Wow, a collection!.....You really love them....I found one at Sam's last year that I love...In the middle of the long tubes is a cracked looking glass globe about the size of a soft ball , during the day the sun charges a little light inside of that glass globe so at night it is lit up...it was so pretty I bought two of them....

I saw on the news a couple day ago in Denver someone is getting into big trouble because all of the neighbors are complaining about his wind chimes and he has gotten a few tickets over the noise ordinance. He has some pretty big chimes though.

I hate them! My mom used to have them on the front porch which was close to my bedroom. Every time the wind would blow they would be SO LOUD- even with the window closed.

I absolutely love them! I have been looking for the perefct one for my front porch for an entire year now and still no luck!

you know it is said that wind chimes bring good luck and ward away bad vibes.... don't know if there is truth to that ...

I love wind chimes ,my hubby buys them for me when the go on sale at the end of summer,I have about 10 of them.but only 2 hang in the winter i put the rest away until spring .

I love the bamboo ones. I can listen to mine all the time.
