I MUST love him....
 
DH has been wanting a turkey dinner SOOOO badly. I thought it sounded good when we bought the turkey. But the sight, smell, and mere thought of raw meat...or cooked meat for that matter...makes me want to hurl. this pregnancy is going to make me lose weight LOL. I just can't stand it. But here I am, making my husband a turkey dinner. digging the insides out of the raw bird, and stuffing things back into it. YUK!!! when I opened the package and the blood gushed out, I almost lost it. OMG...this is the most disgusting thing in the world!! well..maybe not...but it's one of the most disgusting things in the world LOL

he better like it LOL

don't get me wrong...I normally like turkey just fine. but not right now. :tongue036 :tongue036

I would say you love him,lol!! I feel so bad for your feeling so woosie. I sure hope he likes it since your going thru alot for him.

I was the same way when pregnant with my daughter, couldn't even look at the meat in the store:tounge6:

we had my favorite dinner last night....steak, mashed potatoes, green beans...and i couldn't eat the steak. I wanted to sooooooo bad. but ended up giving mine to dh. i just can't do it.

darn kid is cutting into my beloved steak dinner!!! he/she will be in BIG trouble if this keeps up for long LOL :D

Oh, you must really love him!

When I was preg with my last DD, I had a real problem with meat. I would go to the grocery store to shop and could not go near the meat market. I did everything I could to not look in that direction. I also had to carry a baggie with me...incase I was going to be sick. I did finally had to give up and have the groceries delivered! For the rest of my preg I had to have my DH cook anything with meat.

OYE. well, luckily, hubby likes to cook :) but yes, the meat really gets to me. I hate it :(

this turkey is smelling good tho :) it is taking forever to brown...but it smells great :D

oyyyyeeee....I remember those days! LOL Mine was beef. Could not stand to smell it cooking. :sickie: I used to put a roast on, then go to my sister's house until it was done.

This brought back memories too. I also went off meat, ate so much fruit though.
Funny thing is my son does not like fruit. Maybe you "blob" wont like meat.

I have been eating the heck out of fruit :) peaches (canned since i can't find any good fresh ones right now), strawberries (also not good right now) apples, cantelope (again...not good), grapes, grapes, MORE grapes (they seem to be pretty good LOL)

in fact, peaches sound really good right now...brb :D

You're a stronger woman than I. I probably would have been like "Good luck cookin' your turkey dinner buddy." I'm sure one day when I get pregnant it'll be worse but I don't even like cooking meat right now.

hehe....i'm exactly like you. but he has been SOOOOOOOO good to me, I thought I would surprise him :)

it turned out REALLY super good. but I could only take a bite. I couldn't handle it. I thought it stunk :( dh couldnt' smell what I smelled, but it was too powerful for me. :(

the broccoli and rice were good tho :D
