Way off topic, but too cool!!
 

Well the couple's whose wedding we were in this past weekend (my bestest friend!!!) are honeymooning in Maui!! Which is awesome!! They are staying at a 5 star resort and all that good stuff. Well, they were having breakfast this morning at one of the resort resterants, and sitting at the next table was Pam Anderson and Tommy Lee along with their kids!!! How cool!!! SO they got to talk to them and they siad the kids are soooo adorable!!! But Pam doesn't look good at all w/o any makeup!!! They said she doesn't look anything like what we would see on TV or in magazineS!! They are staying at the same resort!!! They will be there for another week so they may run into them again!! I thought I would share that with you all!!!! heheh!!! :) :)

I'm a sucker for celebrity sightings. I know what you mean about Pamela Anderson too. I've seen the terrible tabloid pictures of her without her "face" ans she really is very plain.

Boy, would I love to be in Maui right now!!

That would be neat to meet a movie star!

Why? They are just people like you and me with a job. There are people working round the clock helping the poor and sick - they deserve the attention we normally give to celebrities.
We have more interesting people here at YT - people who react upon little girls from filthy homes coming here to talk about dogs, people who are compassionate and loving.
Pamela Anderson exposed her boobs - what's great about that?

They have a lot of stuff, but their emotional trouble are the same as ours. And they have a harder time dealing with it because
- they can't expose their depression, sadness or anger - the media will be all over them
- people who are not moviestars have an expectation that these people are some kind of higher species. They are not and most of the time it is a plague to them.

Think about this:
Most actors and movie stars actually choose that career because they want to act.
Because competition is so hard, they have to draw attention to themselves, attending gallas, openings etc and give the press bits of their privacy to make journalists write about them.
This leads to fame - but also to the fact that whatever you do, other people know about it.
And often if you ask them what the downside is to acting, they will tell you that this exactly is.
The audience is demanding inside stories on famous peoples lives and if you don't comply you will never be someone.

I think we should turn the cameras to those who try to make a difference in the world today - the people who work for Red Cross, Care, UN etc - to keep peace and stop starvation.
We should educate people to stop being afraid of other races or beliefs and understand that we are all born with the same need for being loved - each and every one of us.

After the attacks on sept. 11th people have a hard time accepting muslims. Those who do something about this are the real heroes. The muslims who stand up and say "9/11 is not what Islam is about" are the real heroes. Those who cook for the homeless are the real heroes.

Do you? If she is a wonderful person, who cares what she looks like without makeup?

Sorry - this celebrity thing really ticks me off...
