Saying prayers for you and your husband. |
:hands: Praying for your husband, and a safe trip for you. :hands: |
Update.... I guys I just finally got the wifi to work, my husband is doing fine still doing extensive tests to try and figure out what is going on....no real word yet (though they do confirm a heart attack)!:( I have checked us in one more day here as I pray to G*d that will be out last day. He is in really good spirits and is already bugging me to get back to work:rolleyes: yup thats my husband that insisted everything was fine all along. Just to let you all know as it has become apparent to me that this is a lot of peoples question... my husband weighs 150lbs and is healthy, also never EVER used a drug in his life. I find that it is really normal for METH users to be in for heart attack. I felt a constant stares and questions when that subject came up. We told doctors repeatedly that he doesn't even like to take Tylenol let alone be sitting up in a hospital getting poked and looked at by a bunch of people....so I am sure none of you thought that but I just needed to get it off of my chest. Its an almost guilty until proven innocent kind of thing when you are in the hospital (mind you he DID take a drug test after us telling the doctors more then once that he didn't use drugs...and passed with flying colors...ohhh if this situation was different I would have had a word with that dr!) Well I got about 3/4hrs a sleep with lil Parker butt being my watch dog and my heart continually breaking from all that has happened. I hope tonight to post an update as to some answers as to why this is all happening! Thank you all for your warm and wonderful prayers and I am sitting here balling my eyes out. Now its time to "man" up and get my butt back to the hospital! You really don't know how wonderful it feels...thank you thank you thank you and G*d bless you ALL...xooxoxo :ghug: |
Just now seeing this, You and hubby are in my prayers, hugs |
I hope everything goes well for your husband today. I'm so sorry all of this has happened in the first place, just hang in there and be strong. Your family will be back at home in no time!:) |
It has to be tough. If it helps for us to be here, then you know you have support. Praying that things work out well and as I said before: take care of yourself, too. I know lil Parker is being cared for.:) |
Just seeing this. You are both in my thoughts and prayers. Hope you will be at home, happy and healthy soon. Sheilagh |
 Oh my goodness Parker I just seen this too, prayers are on your way girl:hands: :hands: :hands: |
Does heart disease run in his family? Remember that Russian figure skater who was in top shape in his twenties? Thank goodness your husband is at the hospital and they are running tests so they can't solve any problems. I know you both will be fine and of course my thoughts are with you. Wow, it's amazing because the last post I saw of yours talked about getting a sister or brother for Parker then this.......Yikes! |
Prayers on the way. |
I am so glad to hear the update! I am still saying prayers for you guys and thinking about you :) Try and take it easy and don't overwork yourself. Do just as your hubby is doing - REST :) Big hugs to you guys! |
Prayers on the way for you both! Hang in there Tisha...don't look for reasons why just yet. Stay focused on his recovery and your strength in days ahead. Don't forget to take care of yourself and lil parker!! In our thoughts and prayers, Deb :hands: |
My prayers are with you. Pace yourself and try to be strong. I know how hard it is. My husband became critically ill 2 years ago. It was sudden. It was pancreatitis. Dr's kept asking him if he was a drinker and he told them no. He might have an occasional glass of wine but that's about it. Finally we moved him from the Florida hospital to Chicago's Northwestern. There they found that it was a birth defect! Can you believe he's never had a symptom before ever. Seventy days in the hospital, feeding tube etc he finally had the extensive surgery to remove 1/2 his pancreas and his spleen. He is a medical miracle! He regained his strength and his weight. He is now out enjoying golf and all activities. I have never prayed so hard! I will be praying for your husband and that find the problem and he has a speedy recovery. Take care. |
Tisha - please don't give another thought to anyone questioning you. The hospital personnel really are doing their job and ruling out what they can to make an accurate diagnosis. But, I'm sure that doesn't make it any easier!! Sometimes there are just no answers - which can be really frustrating. But thank God he is young, active and otherwise healthy - so hopefully he will make a full recovery!!! And, honestly - drug use never entered my mind despite his young age. I'd like to think that no one was thinking that here!!!!! Still sending hugs and prayers. Get some rest, too!!!! |
