Vacation is over.... Its over... its back to work tomorrow and Im not afraid to tell you... I DONT WANT TO GO!!!!!!!! I have been off since before Christmas so its very hard to go back especially since I know there will be tons of unanswered emails. Ugh.... Id rather just stay home and play with Sam all day. Guess I better get my butt in bed so I can get up at a decent hour. |

I have to go back to school tomorrow. :( I feel like crying lol. I don't want to go. I really, really don't want to go. Gahhhh....WHY? that's what sucks about vacations...having to go back. :( |

My girls are already pouting :( :( :( they know the signs of 'back to work'.....these sad faces are melting me plus it's FREEZING today.....Got the heat up and will leave them in their nighties.....they have a nice little camp all set up but man - we're not used to temps in the 30's ! I hope the day FLIES by for us like the Christmas holiday did |
Going back is always hard, especially when it's cold outside. I hate getting out of bed when it's cold! I start my new job on the 7th...but ummm I cant wait!! I hope you can all sneak on YT today at work... I wont tell :p |

It's always hard to go back to work after a vacation. I still have a few days left, I go back to work on Monday. The pups are going to hate it when I go back. I've spent almost every hour of every day with them. |
I think 1/2 my company is starting back monday - we're pretty slow ..but .....traffic was a BREEZE. Even the ride from 'h*ll' I do wasn't so bad today |
Well I'm here today (((yuck))) We got 12 inches of snow yesterday and then today got about 5 more so far so I went to leave to go see my babies for lunch and the roads were so bad and it was like a white out so I couldn't see well and I was sliding all over so I had to turn around and come back to work :( Stinks. |
...sigh. I'm here too. I am thankful to have a job, really I am! But I really wist it was snuggling and playing with my yorkie! Vacation was nice but I never get much "rest" when I am home! Funny how that happens. Happy day after new years everyone! |
I do remember how I couldn't wait to retire because work had gotten to be just that.......WORK. I don't miss it one bit. This is the happiest time of my life now, but growing old isn't, so all of you young folks, enjoy your youth to the max. ;) |
LOL, I go back tomorrow. Actually, I've been feeling extremely lucky to have had THIS MUCH time off, so feel I can't really complain. However, it has been nice...:) |

I remember when I worked.. I didnt have kids so I told my hubby I wanted a baby.... that was 2001 when I quit my job.. Then in 2003 my lifelong JOB really started.. Shoot back then I never knew kids meant you WORKED 24/7...lol haha Now I have three BOYS and full time is a UNDER statement...lol then add the furkids on top of everything else...HAHA be very very careful of what you WISH FOR:D :D :D :D |
I rode to work with hubby today and am waiting for him to come get me. Poor planning after being off for 11 glorious days. But, several of my guys are still out, making it a quiet day. Hubby and I work about 3 miles apart. I usually come in around 7 and leave by 4. He's a 7:30 to 4:30 person. So, I had to come in early and stay late so he'd get his time in. All so one of the kids could borrow my Tahoe for a funeral road trip. The things we do. |
I survived and supposed to be working now but Im not. Sam would much rather me throw the ball to him than work. It took everything I had to get up this morning and then about hour after I was at work...... I got a visitor.... You know the kind... that causes cramps and the such:eek: One day down and just two more to go!:thumbup: |
So school today was not too bad. My least favorite teacher was out (thank you!!) because he went somewhere on vacation and he didn't want to get up this morning. :rolleyes: But anyway, it was nice seeing all my friends and now I'm trying to get back into school-time, because on vacation I was staying up til 4 and waking up at 12 haha. |
tomorrow (the 3rd) is the day I go back to work :( - Last day I worked was the 20th. I wish I would have taken the rest of the week off, while my daughter is still home from college. Today at 1:15 my boss called and left me a message, wondering where I was - lol. She apparently didn't pay attn to the fact that I took a personal day off today. But I had all my work done up thru today, except for one little daily thing that has to be done, that she would have to do. |
After being sick for a week with a nasty cold I felt a little human today and we took the 3 Grandkiddies to see Water Horse. 2 of them go back to school tomorrow & so does grandpa. The movie was great but why would they make a movie about Scotland and shoot it in New Zeeland? I don't work again until the 8th. |
I know how you all are feeling! I went back today after having 11 days off! I could have cried this morning! I could really get used to sitting around playing with Pixie, watching TV and eating/drinking too much!:p |

Is it Friday YET ? :eek: no ? and for you guys driving with snow - be careful - I don't know how you all do it. It was 30 (no snow) this morning when I left for work and I was JUST FREEZING ! But to have to be cold AND drive while sliding around - you can HAVE IT ! I had the girls dressed up for the North Pole it was that cold here in Houston and it's nothing like some of you get ....well maybe not dressed for the Pole but they did wear their nighties all day while I was gone |
