need prayers for my 6 month old grandson 1 Attachment(s) my grandson was taken into the Emergencey room saturday night they said he has pnenomia and they sent her home with a nebulizer and some antibiotics they are to give him breathing treatments every 4 hours ,he"s not been able to hold anything down and they told her to give him pedilite and he"s not even able to hold it down she said they might have to put him in the hospital.,he was born premature at 5 pounds and 2 oz and he not that little anymore but i still worry about him because of him being premature ,I"m just asking for prayers hoping with all the prayers he will soon start to feel better and start holding liquids down so he dont have to be hospitalized.he my sweet pea heres a pick of him on the 22nd |

I hope everything goes well... Its always scary when their that little and that sick. My son was also born premature, he weighed 5 pounds 4 ozs and at 2 weeks old he was put in the hospital with RSV and has been on breathing treatments ever since (he turned 2 on the 18th) because he now has pretty severe asthma and gets pneumonia easily. The albeuteral they had him on made him soooo hiper!! It was awful!! They put him on zopenex (sp) which is similar to the albuteral but it didnt make him hiper. Im sure he will be ok. Its scary when they put them in the hospital, but sometimes it can be for the best, especially when they cannot keep any fluids down. Have they tried popsicles? Bryan couldnt stand the pedialite and would throw it up everytime, but the popsicles worked. |

Up Date my daughter called they took him back to the Emergency room his breathing was labored ,his oxygen level was down in the 80 range it"s suppose to be in the 100 range ,they put him on oxygen and hooked him up to a iv,they dont know how long he will be in the hospital .he was running a fever ,they has to give him tylenol suposatory because he is unable to keep anything down.I hate that I cant be there because my daughter was crying on the phone .I told her he would be fine .so she is staying at the hospital to be with him . |
aw i'll being praying for baby noah, i hope he doesn't have to go to the hospital. he's truly adorable edit: i guess we posted at the same time. i'm so sorry she had to take him to the hospital, hopefully he'll be able to go home soon:( |
I am so sorry but that is the best place for him right now. Three of my four grandchildren have been in the hospital when they were infants...on oxygen and iv's. It is surprising how fast they pop back once the iv's start. Noah is in my prayers. |
God bless the little man. I will add him to my prayers tonight. Hope that he gets better soon. The worst thing is having a sick baby. They are so small and can't tell us just what the problem is. |
