Those who got Wii's for Chirstmas I was just wondering how your family likes it? The kids got the Wii for christmas and I think I love playing it as much as they do there have been some very sore muscles and very late nights! One night we didn't hit the sheets until 7:00am :eek: it's been so addictive but we love it! We also got guitar hero for the playstation now that is a fun game I'm not very good @ it but there's some good music on there.:D |
we got a wii too! We love our Wii also. Funny how I really thought it was going to be for the kids....LOL! We got the Guitar Hero for the Wii and we are learning how to play, but you are right....awesome music on that one! My daughters love the High School Musical Sing It game! My mom bought one also for the kids for Christmas to keep at her house, but my dad has taken control of that one and has even gone out to buy additional games for it!! Have a great evening!! I bought a Wii for my 17 y/o son for Christmas. We all love it!! It wears me out and is great exercise too. I'm not real good at the Guitar Hero III, but I love trying. I think just about every game that I've tried on the Wii is addictive! |
Love my Wii. Havent watched tv since christmas because were wiiing to much. We all have wii arm!! Husband wont put down guitar hero! Ive threatend to run the guitar over if he wont put it down for dinner, its 8:30 and hes still not eaten! Even my 60 year old Mom wants a Wii now. |
My baby brother (he's 11 I'm 25) got one for Christmas and we love it! The day after Christmas my boyfriend, my friends and I played for hours - we were cracking up playing bowling and tennis - it was so fun and better than just sitting there playing regular old games. |
My dad gave me money to buy the Wii...he actually have me enough for more than just the Wii. lol. He couldn't find it in his area, but luckily one of my BF's friends knows someone that can get it cheaper. He was supposed to get it before xmas, but you know how those things go. Hopefully I'll be getting it in the begining of Jan when they send out the first shipment of Wiis. I already have 5 games for it, extra controllers, nunchuck, & pink skins for the controllers. I couldn't get the guitar hero for it yet, but i know I'll get it eventually. I'm gonna be 24 and I'm actually excited to get the Wii... needless to say my house will be the drunken Wii headquarters. lol. Oh, and I have DDR for it... I'm very excited for that... I heard it supposed to be a good workout! LOL |
I think I am so in the minority LOL. My DH and I got a Wii over the summer and we sold it soon after, I just didn't like it at all :p. |

We got our kids a Wii for Christmas. It is SO much fun!! We really like playing Mario Party 8, Wii Sports and Wii Play as a family, my son loves playing Paper Mario for the Wii, my husband got me Guitar Hero (I LOVE our playstation 2 guitar hero, and the Wii version is just as good if not better!), and I have also been playing Zelda Twilight Princess, and have been pulling some all nighters myself!!! :D Haha.... very addicting! |
It is soooo much fun!! I got one for my little boy last Christmas and I can honestly say that it has probably been used everyday!!! We all love it!!! |
My aunt got her kids one for Christmas & she said she likes it too...that it's a good workout. Makes me want one! They have the boxing game & she said it's great for the arms! |
WII's are the greatest thing!! I feel like a kid again(ya ya I am 25), but the concept of using the wii mote in all those different ways is fun. We (no pun intended) got Wario Smooth Moves and it shows you all different ways to hold the remote: Like you are driving a car, handlebars on a bike, shaving your heads, running with a baton, flat on your hand like you are a waiter.... soo much fun! |

We got ours at best buy 2 days after christmas, they had about 30 of them on the floor and there was a manager there making sure people only took one. |
my good friend had a couple of cousins over from CA and they brought their wii with them so my friend and I got to play a lot of bowling and tennis and it sure is addicting . . . my arms sure got quite a bit of excercise :) between that and shovelling snow I could do with a rest on that part of my body for the rest of the year :p :D |
for NYE we do a 5 family tournament of random games board/video/athletics and this year we had the wii guitar hero and it is seriously addictive.. i am trying so hard to get one but it isnt looking good.. it is such a blast to play!:thumbup: |

We have the Wii and love, love, love it. My 16 yr old son also has xbox 360 and we also have Playstation 2 but I def. like the Wii the best. We made a smart decision and actually bought the Wii for my 7 yr old son for his birthday in Sept...and boy was I glad. I didn't have to run around trying to find it at Christmas. We got the Guitar Heroes for xmas though and I now make the boys move out of the way when I come in because I got to get my Guitar Heroes in every day now!!!! I'm still stuck on Pat Benatar's "Hit me with your best shot" on easy mode. I can only work with the 3 keys so far(green, red, yellow)...not ready for the blue and orange to come into play yet but one day............lol We also love the bowling, boxing and tennis!!!! It's a great family oriented game system for sure!!! |

I actually was able to find a wii for my little brother who's 9yrs old back in Oct. One of my coworkers said there were a couple of wii's available at the Walmart over on Dale Mabry. I told my husband we were going to see if any were left in the morning after work. We managed to snag one. I'm glad I bought it early because apparently they were almost impossible to find after black Friday. I was able to try it out over the holidays and loved it. Told my husband that's next on my wish list.;) |
