I don't think anyone's posts and threads get ignored on purpose. There is so much posting that goes on here everyday that sometimes things just get lost in the mix. Sometimes you just have to be persistant if a thread or question doesn't get answered. I think most of us here have posted something at one time or another that didn't get a big response. I looked back at some of your past threads and saw that you had an accidental breeding. You just have to understand that we love our babies so much here and love the yorkshire terrier breed. Many of us are very passionate about the breed and have strong opinions on breeding. I'm sorry if you thought some were too harsh on you. There is so much to be learned here though...so many knowledgeable members. And many people are willing to help...sometimes you just have to find the right person. Hope you stick around. It's really a great place. |
I have to add that I'm glad you stuck around. I know I've had a rare few that have pushed my buttons...I guess everybody has their opinions but there's no excuse for rudeness. I truly care for all yorkies and yorkie owners, it's almost like family...and yes families have their squabbles. All I ask is for an honest apology from those that have hurt my feelings, and I don't think that is too much to ask or expect. If I unknowingly hurt your feelings or anyone elses, just let me know so I can make it right...I'm sorry, I never mean to be uncaring, much less rude. If there is anything I can ever do to make your visits to YT more comfortable...PM me, anytime...really. |
I understand how you feel. I just came back after not posting for ??? about a year and a half. Not because somthing was directed at me, I just got tired of witnessing part of it. Then Shelby almost died in December, and I thought of YT. I needed to share it somewhere and see if anyone could help. She had a terrible reaction to a bee sting and I knew about the symptoms of shock because of this forum. I figured with my need to share, and my hopes to inform others, I had to come back and post. I am trying  to limit my time here so I don't get addicted again. I also try to answer posts that don't have a lot of responses. I know I too feel bad when I feel ignored. Welcome Back. |

The one that upset me was in PM about Missy shots. I asked a question about what to do and I got a very rude PM telling me to stop asking dumb questions if I thought the reaction was bad to take her to vet. I had already called the vet and they said to watch her and if she wasn't better in a couple of hours to bring her in. I didn't wait the 2 hours. Turns out that she is allergic to the shot. I had no idea that they could have reactions like that. I was scared and it hurt my feelings that some one would send a message like that. Like I said earlier, I think I should have just thought before I said anything. The people who have replied to this thread have been very kind today. |
I am sorry that you have felt this way, but I have to admit I have shared some of your same feelings before. I haven't been around too long either and I am raising my first little yorkie who is almost 8 months old so I need lots of advice! I just try to focus on all the wonderful people here and block out the rude ones. You can PM me anytime, if there is anything I can ever do to help :) |

As a newbie myself , what can I say .....I have received (1) super ugly pm and replies with not so nice comments somewhere back, my advise to you is don't let anybody put you down , just take the good advice and the rest put it in the trash.....no body is perfect and everyone make mistakes and have had errors in the past, only difference is some people don't say it out loud. Welcome back .....hope to see you around often. :) |
Hi Laura, I really do hope that you will choose to stay. I am fairly new myself and breed on a VERY small scale and I, like you, was looking for a place that I can spend some time to talk with others about my passion ... my 5 furbababies! Goodness knows, my family is probably tired of my constant talking about Penelope, Tobias, Miss Lily, Tulsa and Brady and finding YT was a Godsend... to say the least. Please do not give up on us and you can PM me anytime at all. If I do not have the answer for you .... we can find someone who does. I personally am glad you are here !!! |

I'm sorry you got such a rude PM back :( There was no reason to be that way. I get a lot of PMs from people asking me things and I always try to respond quickly and help them however I can. I've gotten a few rude PMs before as well (from 2 members). There may be some members here that are rude when you ask for help, but most people here are definitely willing to help if they can. There is so much here to be learned and a lot of opportunities to help others. I really like everyone here. Even a couple I've had disagreements with, I still respect, and there are things I do like about them. I've found I'll never agree all the time with anyone, but that's okay. Sometimes people just have to agree to disagree and move on. Everyone has something to contribute here. |

I am so sorry you received mean PM's. I just don't understand why people feel the need to do that. I look forward to seeing more posts from you. |

I am also sure they are tired of me sending them pics of them doing their silly little things all the time...lol |

You all maybe sorry for telling me to PM you with questions I may make you crazy...lol Seriously, I will try to find the answer first but, if I can't I will ask. Thank you all again for your kindness today. It has made me feel very good. Laura |
