Layla update....
 
Still no Layla! Our neighbor found her collar though! I'm sure it was shocking her and she pulled it off over her head. I feel bad she was getting shocked enough to do that, but save for leaving her tied up in the yard permanently, it is the only way to keep her in....usually. She had been doing great with it and staying right in the yard for a week! I guess the fireworks just really scared her! BTW, the fireworks were across town, not nearby! We didn't even think about her getting scared! Her tag was on the collar too!

I ran an ad in the paper today. Hopefully she will turn up soon. She should be easy to spot with only 1/3 of a tail. Thanks for the prayers, y'all.

Oh Elizabeth. I sure hope you find her soon. I feel so bad and wish I could do something. Poor thing. Have you placed an ad and put up reward signs? I am sure you ahve done all that. Hopefully she will turn up today!

Thank goodness she is micro chipped! I hope someone who may have her finds one of your notices soon. Do you live in a small town? If so, take a notice to the grocery store. Most everyone goes to the store or gas station.

"Little Layla" is a 65 lb. Black Lab! If this were one of my Yorkie babies, I'd really be in the nuthouse! I'm worried about Layla too, of course, but she is much more able to fend for herself than a tiny dog! Thanks for the prayers. I really think she'll be back.

i feel so badly for you and layla! if i lived by you believe me i'd be out looking right this second!!! have you tried putting up missing dog fliers with a pic of her on it?? or perhaps a reward?? its a really really good thing she's micro chipped other wise you could be in trouble!! i'm still praying for a safe return!!

65lbs gives me some relief. Much better to take care of herself! I'm back to my bonbon theory again. She's sitting on a cushion watching Animal Planet, will get bored and be home soon!! Not enough activity for a lab!

I thought it was one of your Yorkie babies, and I was so afraid that someone saw her & just snatched her up!

I'll keep praying left and right!!
